To all people complaining about the price: did you see the other stuff they sell??? Clothing that probably cost more then your first car. It's a website for rich people so obviously its way over priced.
Not sure if I am the only one but I like simple and plain interfaces better. I find it annoying trying to navigate through menus on the 360 for this reason. What I loved about XMB was how simple and easy it was to navigate through menus, if you needed something you know exactly where to look.

Considering my 32" TV that i bought for 350 bucks comes with over 1/2 the features xbox gold has, those "features" are pre installed on my TV for free use (netflix, twitter, facebook, hulu plus, etc) makes it obsolete features for paid xbox gold and hell basically every xbox gold feature is available on PC for free. Sony knows what gamers want in a subscription and they did a damn good job at it
10 year life cycle includes the overlap with the next gen. Lets say ps4 is released next year, thats about 7 years of ps3 life cycle, which means the ps3 will still be supported for 3 years along with the ps4. So I think it should still be released as soon as possible. People who don't want to jump into next gen right away can still stick with their ps3s since it will still be supported.
I can't believe people are still complaining about hdmi cables. I literally have 3 being unused around my house and ive been giving others away to friends for free cuz I have too many of them and out of all the hdmi cables i only bought 2 of them.
The problem is "best graphics" is too general of phrase. Some better questions would be "best graphics on a technological scale, art style, and atmosphere."
AMD is still nice for those budget rigs out there, 70 bucks cheaper for FX-4170 then the i5 SB @ 3ghz and I could imagine just a few frames under the i5
But will there be another sacred song that I can jam to?
I think lightning is still pretty awesome , it would be really nice if they made a final fantasy character pack in future DLCs
and we are still going to wonder if FF13-28 is going to improve from the previous versions

playing chrono trigger and loving it! I am ashamed to admit that I missed this game growing up and never found time to play it but I do now =]
Just bring on better graphics! I know graphics isn't everything, if a game lacks appealing graphics but has amazing gameplay I can look past the graphics but it doesn't mean I don't like to stare at a pretty picture every now and then. Have you guys seen Crysis 3 tech trailer?? Even though thats PC footage the next gen consoles can't be that far behind.
I play on PC with ps3 controller so I configure my racing games to use right analog stick like nfs underground did. I am not sure if you can change the controls to that on consoles
360 analog sticks positions + triggers + dpad are bad, IMO every controller should be like a ps3 except for the l2+r2 should be buttons not pressure sensitive and no controller should be like a wii mote
I don't think many games will run 4k till maybe the next gen. If the ps4 was running crossfired AMD 7990s it might but with the rumored specs of 7670 and the A8 APU there's no way. Even the highest end GPUs on PC have trouble getting certain games at 60fps on 2560x1600.
I just want a dlc without another stupid transformation. Its just bad design, you cant go through menus, you cant pick up loot, and I get WEAKER when I am transformed because my 100 smithing and enchanting + buffs becomes useless. I loved all 215 hours I invested into skyrim but the transformations just astound me how bad they are.
Easy is also nice for reliving the story of a game. I recently did that with KOTOR and had a blast with it.
