Kinect is a failure as a gaming device because M$ didn't push the software. But as a developer tool, it's great.

The Xbone and the Ps4 are some fine successors. But with the strong on-going growth of the PC platform which exploded in the middle of last-gen, the 2 consoles are weaker by comparison.
Actually, it is. Every single console successor is more powerful than its predecessor. And it has to be too. Why would one buy new expensive hardware if it's not more powerful ? (or at least have new innovative way to play like the Wii)

Nah, we didn't hear about its sales number is all. I'm sure it did great on Ps4 as it's not a big budget AAA game that got more money for marketing plan than making the game itself.

The Vita wasn't that expensive but its memory cards were (and still are).

True, and given that even the Ps3 which was on the losing side offered paid Ps2 games, i can't see how it can be any different with the Ps4. Also the ps4's version running at a much better framerate so i wouldn't mind buying the game again. Tho 15$ is pretty steep, i'll wait for sale.
Then buy the disc and put it into an emulator on PC and BAM, Remastered, lol.
