To be fair, those PC games (QB,GoWUE) run like shit with their stupid Windows platform thing.
They look only a tad better than xbone but they need some powerhouse hardware to pull a solid 60fps which is total BS.
Tactical squad shooter doesn't mean it won't be story centric. Spec ops the line is one. Tho admittedly, the squad commands in that game was kind of shit.
Dark souls aside. Bloodborne had a great idea for "easy mode": Insight.
When you have a lot of insights, the game become harder with enemies/bosses doing new attack but you can now see more things than before. It fits the game's lore perfectly. With less insight enemies attacks is slightly weaker. Some enemies appear with more insight. It doesn't make the game that much easier tho.

The world ain't never gonna agree on one best game/movie/song/... because we are not clones and every person has their own likes and dislikes.
I'm down with new hardware. Bloodborne running at 60fps would be quite lovely. But the 3ds - new 3ds thing didn't really paint a great picture of the situation. Games run at unplayable frame-rate on old hardware, exclusive games for new hardware.
Being free (which isn't really in this case) doesn't mean it is free of its shortcomings. Zombi being free means that i might try it, doesn't mean that i'll enjoy it.
M$ shouting out their success made sense because they made the damn console and they wanted to sell more. But there was nothing much going for the consumers doing that (other than self satisfaction ... in some way?).
Ha ha, i was once a casul who doesn't play specific games but continue to criticize them like he know what they are all really about, then i took an axe to the face.
The thing with the reviews is that Dark Souls was so great that even its not-so-good sequel worth your time and money than other games. Also it was a bit easier than its predecessor so more casul can get a chance to do a proper review.

@Legion Except for the horrendous frame-rate. The first few level was awesome. But i quickly give up on the later level because of the frame-rate drops.
Nah, Ps4's success is what really made the line up drop that much in qualiy. If the Ps4's sale number was behind xbone's then the line up would had seen some big-budgets games by now.
