Are you that dense?
How about we not credit the game that created the stealth genre, that revolutionized story telling and pushed graphics and gameplay to a new level. Take your Halo. That game did nothing except bring a good FPS to console.
Also, I'm not saying Splinter Cell is a bad series, because it isn't. I love those games, but to undermine the gaming series that brought great gameplay, sound tracks, fully recorded dialogue as well as the best video game story ...
They still had that exploration and adventure. This new one doesn't.
Other than the races being spread out (unlike some in the older series, mainly GT 2 and 3 I believe) the game was epic. My friend and I have spent over 500 hours on it and over 300 cars. Especially with B-Spec mode, It enabled me to hit the pits and sit back for 5 laps of Nurburg while we watched Scrubs. Tires would run thin. Would hit the pits, rinse and repeat.
^^^ One of the best comments ever.
Interesting, then there goes Gears of War 2.
And that doesn't make sense. I understand the MGS:Rising for them, since no one thought it would be for 360 as well, but Rock Band Beatles and Tony Hawk Ride? Come on! Those are goin to PS3 as well.
but how is two Mario games and a "Metroid" game a "WOW"?
First of all, while Galaxy was fun, I wouldn't throw them 40 bucks for the game, with different levels. Not to mention playing New Super Mario Brothers Wii would be a disaster with my friends. We are all d!cks when it comes to games like that (ones that include teamwork lol) and we wouldn't help each other spawn. I just know it.
Anyway, about not wanting Galaxy 2, I say this because this is ...
Son, you have a lot to learn.

Watch part 1 and part 2, and you can see why and how the GT series can't be beat.
Splinter Cell had no character story up until double agent. Before that it was all "theres a bomb Fisher", "GET OUT OF THERE FISHER", "This is you last alarm Fisher!" kind of stuff.
They can't beat MGS which had an OUTSTANDING story since the start...in MG 1
Funny. Are they trying to compare their game to the most critically acclaimed series in gaming?
I love Splinter Cell and all, but them fightin' words.
My spinal column is compressing (i'm 19 btw) my adolescent arthritis isn't good for me. If I can play plenty games sitting, I can do that. Sony's/Nintendo's is more flexible. Since its hardware based, I can sit down to play them.
I was so shocked. I was expecting FF13 VS..and then BAM..I was like "did they change the title?". They started showing it and I was like "ooooooh myyyyy gaaaaaaaaaawd"
GT4 had its vehicle detail in its textures (source PD "Beyond the Apex"), this game has an amazing lighting engine. You can see the shine/reflection/shadows of the car.
This is their first game for a non-pc oriented console. Fact
They are using a non-specific engine to be run on multiple platforms. Fact.
They don't know what they are talking about. Fact.
glad to make you laugh btw.
I'd jump off my damn house.
/nuff said.
EDIT: Metroid Gaiden looks good (aka "Metroid: Other M")
Not because I don't want to, but because at the age of 15 I was diagnosed with adolescent arthritis. I'm 19, and already my spinal column is compressing, and me being lactose intolerant doesn't help the fact I can't drink milk (for the calcium). I get in pain after standing for more than 5 mins, reason why if anything, I'd prefer the Wii. If the Natal requires you to stand like that, I simply cannot do it.
it takes an 8 mbps downstream..the fastest in my area is 8...which costs a good 70 dollars a month, something my family cannot afford.
How is Natal supposed to "tie" or "win" with/against the ps3 motion control in most games. COD6 or w/e. Using Natal? I'm gonna get on the floor and "crawl" oh wait, I have no were to crawl to?? The other you can just hit a button. Things don't add up in this "battle" between the two.
I mean this guy is f*cking stupid. Just read his scenarios. Oh I can do lots of special moves due to buttons, but the Natal lets you do things with your whole...
