Also, try YDLinux. It runs a lot better than Ubuntu does. You can watch HD media on YDL since they programmed it for the Cell and powerPC. Lots of "tools" *cough* you can use in Linux as well..

It has to cache that thumbnail preview on the HDD otherwise, and since most media servers are Java based, which don't have access to those sort of tasks.

The GT PSP engine is so much better than the GT4 one. Even Kazunori Yamauchi said that in GT4, they based their detail off of textures. This time around, the are pumping out more polys and better lighting for their details.
I don't think they will use the RAGE engine, unless they really amp it up. RAGE is a middleware engine that can be used for multiple platforms. I think R* will take the time to make something even greater than anything they have done so far. I mean, think about it, if it used RAGE, wouldn't you think they'd have some gameplay or even a screenshot?
I really do think they are investing in a new proprietary engine.
