I was ok with 1 upgrade, but we need a point were the slate is wiped clean and we move on to a new gen.
PC's are a perfect example. The most powerful hardware is held back with developers catering to lower end machines. The same thing will happen with consoles if too many versions are supported
At some point you have to draw a line under old hardware. I think 1 mid console upgrade is ok but if you just keep putting out new upgrades and allowing games to be developed for the old hardware the games will be held back by the lowest common denominator.
Again this isn't a problem with 1 upgrade. But hopefully a new generation starts after that and has custom software

The scorpio announcement had no substance. There was no box, no games, no demo. Just a name. The reveal seemed like an after thought with it coming so far in the future. The mess...
No megaton game announcements. Just more Forza gears and Halo.
The scorpio announcement while cool isn't all that surprising. Sony casually announced the NEO days ago so it's not a show feature for them. They know it's not a show closer. The only reason MS closed the show with scorpion is because they had nothing else
The scorpio announcement also lacked substance. There was no D...
