Like stogz already mentioned as to "why not buy a PC instead?" this question could and should be asked for Scorpio as EACH and EVERY of its games likely can be bought on PC + you get the PC games that will never be on consoles. I bet ps5 will still has its very own exclusives, so the rule " want the exclusive, buy the console" which already applied to ps4 will also apply to ps5.

don't think pro will suffer because Scorpio has more power. Yeah it was nice that ps4 had the (minor) tech advantage but that wasn't the Main reason why it sold like this. It was because it's a PlayStation and Scorpio can't change that fact. Sure, a small minority will choose their console purely based on specs. But not enough to effect ps4 pro, let alone make it "suffer".
Btw. I think ps4 pro will become the Main ps4 (without changing its Name)...

Like morganfell mentioned. one could wait until next year -> next you could say you will wait 2 years because ps5 will probably release then-> at ps5 release you could say you will wait for ps5 pro -> one day you realise PS 15 is already out and you still game on your ps4 because you waited so long. :-)

Mostly Agreed with what you wrote. But I don't get the problem people have with changing discs. I mean it's not like you have to change it every 2, 10, 20 or 30 minutes or even every hour, who plays like that?
I'm one of them. Would never buy a full priced game digital when a retail Version is available. Only buy digitals during psn sales when they are dirt cheap. I like to trade my games with others once i know i won't play them anymore or maybe trade them in along with a second one at gamestop if they are old enough but still on the list for their 9,99 thing.

With these confirmed titles when pro isn't even out yet you can bet that nearly all New games will include a visual boost . especially at 1080p it should be easy to include graphical updates without to much effort as most games are being released on PC anyway alongside consoles.

Picking mine up on friday but have to wait 'til november 10th to be able to play it. :-(
I think it's insane spending real $$ for the kinds of boosters, costumes, taunts etc. It's beyond me that there are really pay up to 5 Euro/dollars for Skins or even buy 80 Euro/Dollar packs for a few cosmetics. I played so many hours of gta online, uncharted 4 and so on but never spent a single dime on this BS. I really Miss the times when you could unlock so many things by just playing the games.

They had to many losses this gen. They became pretty sensitive. So stating stating tht even one of their most critically acclaimed games doesn't sell well ist like receiving a punch into the gut for them.
