I've been playing this all weekend and it is one of the best action games I have ever played. The combat is deep and the way they structure your progression is spot on.
I really enjoyed bayonetta when it came out but I see it in such a different light. Originally saw it as a 9/10 but after playing GOW I'd score it 6.5.
The screens shots on the web do not do this game justice- it is absolutely beautiful.

The game looks really flat and the cars look like they are latched on to the road. It makes it look like they are on rails rather than on the road.
That said though, you can't really get a feel for how it handles from a video. I might change my mind after getting some hands on time.
I've heard from a trusted source that the game is pretty much complete. Their just trying to add one feature and they dont know how long that will take.
Just fix the online play! PES 2009 is almost unplayable online- how did they take step backwards from 08!
I dont mind in game ads but the way they implement it in Fight Night is way to intrusive. You get ads on the loading screen, all around the game environment (ring mat, walls), and even on the resting screen.
The ads also look very poor and look like web banners ads - they didnt even bother trying to blend it in with the environment.
I have seen the release schedule for 2009 and GT will be one of the big 3 - Uncharted, Ratchet, & GT.
2010 Q1 release will be left for Heavy Rain and God Of War
I've been telling people that I have seen the release schedule for 2009 and GT IS COMING OUT THIS YEAR. Look for an annoucment about GT + PS3 slim around TGS.
If I wasn't bound by NDA I would be spillin the beans on everything.
The game is coming out this year- trust me.
GT PSP will launch first with the PSP GO and then GT5 will come out after that.
PlayStations holiday line up is actually pretty strong- could give you game release dates but then my ass would get fired ;-(
Remember Metal Gear appeared on the Gamecube.
I dont care if it goes multi plat as long as he doesnt dumb it down because its coming out on another platform.
Makes me think he didn't play the game all the way through the end if the thunder drop is his favorite move. I've beaten the game and the powers you get towards 2/3 of the game are amazing.
I also can't believe how he didn't mention the epic battles you fight- It amazing to fight against 30+ enemies and blow the living sh*t out of things wit no slow down at all.

I love a good story but it has to be pretty damn good for it to engage me for 15+ hrs.
I'd love them to give the franchise a proper reboot and bring it back to its glory.
I picked it up today and the game is amazing. I had my doubts from the videos but after playing the game it is probably my favorite game of 09- yeah above killzone and resi 5.
It reminds me of GTA but a lot more fun as you can just blow the living sh*t out of everything and the controls are top notch.
Hopefully it will come to Ps3 later on.

It is going to be a MGS4 special edition for the 360. Its one of MS big announcements for e3. Trust me...
Its going to be a special edition version of MGS4 for the Xbox. I'm 100% certain on this.
Alan wake will also make an appearance at e3- insiders said it looks amazing.
So those will be the MS big announcements. Other than that all 3rd party stuff.
He even admits that the game came out in late feb leaving only two days for KZ2 to impact hardware sales in Feb.
