Everyone's complaining about the story. But this isn't meant to give you the entire story. The game is just setting up other stories in a much grander plot. Even the next halo will only be part of a bigger story. This is just a glimpse of a much bigger story people.
It's a story that's being told over many games to come as well as other types of media. The single player campaign to me is just part of a much bigger story that's being told. So for someone to say that Halo has fallen, and that the story is weak, just sounds dumb. They obviously don't get it.

The story caters to those that know the lore. I guess that sucks for those casual fans, but isnt the multiplayer what fills that void for folks that dont invest into the vast epic story. The story being told is too big for one game, so its expected that the campaign doesnt feel complete. Remember this is just a part of more campaigns to come. Story will finish 10 years from now.
Don't read the comments on the article. Someone spoiled an important part of the story. It's happening in other articles as well. There's an agenda out there to ruin the game for as many people as possible. I wish I got the warning before I looked at them :(

There are plenty of reasons why! Maybe they like the look. Or the functionality. The customability. Or maybe they do think it will improve their gaming. So what! It's their choice and whatever reason they choose doesn't need to be judged as a dumb decision by anyone. If they have the money and opportunity to get one then let them enjoy it.
