Can you at least release the game first to know if this was worth it or not? It's just a waste of time and money jumping the gun like this before the game is out.
Because Xbox players are too busy defending Crackdown 3 right now.
It doesn't help that Games Pass gives people a chance to play the game without actually buying it. It's great for us because we can avoid wasting money on games like this but at the same time MS just uses how many people played the game (not sales) to justify that it is "popular"
Except it's very beloved by Final Fantasy fans.

Nope, it fully depends on the game and what the developers want to deliver with the story. Silent Protagonists help players immerse into the game. Do you think Half-Life would be better if Gordan talked? No, it wouldn't. Same with Link from TLOZ.
It's definitely their last great game but it was the first to start stripping a lot of what made Bioware games.
It's such a fun and relaxing game. Probably the best use of the sixaxis we got. A friend forced me out of my gaming comfort zone to buy this and Noby Noby Boy, didn't regret it what so ever. Ps3 had a lot of fun silly PSN titles that you really don't see this gen. Still waiting for my Shatter remaster and/or sequel.
The story, character development, world building, being an RPG and building our characters how we want too. See everything Pre-Mass Effect 2. They are a dim shadow of their former selves, there was a day when the Bioware name meant something other than half-assed games with tons of bugs.
The Last Guardian was fantastic, just because it wasn't better than Shadow of the Colossus doesn't mean it was a disappointment.
You clearly haven't seen the video making the rounds of the extremely massive downgrade for the same multiplayer that uses the "almighty" cloud, makes cloud power look like a joke.
I don't think anyone was deceived into thinking this game was going to be great. The series overall was average at best and only made a name for itself because the first game came with the Halo 3 beta code.
