Eh, Maleficent was used up in KH1 and Pete had his time in the spotlight in KH2 but they should have just been left out. After KH2 they were both pretty defeated, there wasn't really a purpose for them in KH3 which is perfectly fine.

There were many good ideas. Pokemon on the overworld, the way they handled HMs, any pokemon can follow you not just the first in your party and it's not forced so you can put them away, riding even flying on large Pokemon and having wild Pokemon spawn in the air.
But from the way you say "trash" game because of one tiny mechanic that is ONLY the catching while everything else remains a traditional Pokemon game it's clear you didn't actually play it. B...
