The Wii is selling more than the other two losers(of which I own) and it's withholding stock? I doubt that.
And buying into the hype? I done that with COD4 traded it in a week later...doesn't mean everyone will do the same....

Ocarina was better, but not by much, especially considering I didn't really like either....
If I have to pick one it's OoT for it's time it done so much more.
I agree somewhat with iamtehpwn int he fact that they all aim for different markets.
Wii: casual gamers, people seeking new experiences, ex-gamers, those low on cash, lovers of the Nintendo classics & people who get sucked into the hype.
360: want great online play and are willing to pay, like everything to be HD, love quality graphics at an affordable price, love their FPS and generally more "hardcore" titles & like being lazy(dl of XBL).

It actually sounds not bad....I may be one of those 17 people worldwide interested in this game :D
I also doubt it took up anywhere near the full 25GB BR disc, especially if it's an early launch title and mostly pictures.

Well I suppose bored housewives and the like may(may!) by the game in the hope of spicing up their all but over marriage.....hell even husbands could buy it as a hint.....
Hell maybe even the 10-14 range may buy this game to see if there's anything dirty...
All the PS3 fanboys hating on Valve for not having the man power... They said if it's successful then someone(EA?) may put the game out on ps3 for you. And valve games can work and play quite well on even the weaker PCs so you can still play and enjoy the games.
I hope they do something good for the Wii and maybe think about a cheap Wii portal game....
If they improve the online and then charge fees than it's not that bad. I'm typing about a XBL style expeirence but cheaper.
MKW is a great online game and lots of fun, in face I find it better than using halo3 online. It only lacks voice which doesn't bother me greatly.
HDD is needed for those people who will want WW games etc.
I probably won't want the P2P though as I already don't pay my XBLG account...
So If this and a few other decent looking "mature" games fail on the Wii, especially if the devs clearly worked hard on it and it might just be shovelware/casual/old people friendly stuff that "real gamers" don't like/want....uh *shudders at the though*
Great team though and the genre sounds right up my street so best of luck to them.

Bah...Orange box wii, please? If xbox can do half-life so can wii and they mentioned they can scale back....I want arguably the best controls so I can enjoy the experience the most....
Not to say I wouldn't enjoy a new IP I'd love one(or more!) but the way they said kiddy scared me a bit....I hope they make something and make it good!

It'll probably be a decent enough game, I dunno I've not played it/bought it or plan on doing so till some real reviews come out, there's far too many fanboys around GTA4 right now that reviewers can't be honest.
It's already been said/confired it locks/freezes/other problems and still scores perfect 10s? it's flawless? No. I refuse to believe and shall play it on a friends 360/ps3 soon enough.
Also please note I didn't say it was a terrible/bad game, I'm sure it's good 8/9s etc...
and yet I'd rather get Wiifit over GTA4 and I really don't want to get Wiifit....
None of them appeal to me and yet both will sell millions.....
But I wouldn't say GTA4 was more hardcore any, it's a pretty casual, pick-up and play game....

The original is still there everyone who downloaded(the fake) just got a version also.
But there's so much GTA4 hype and with added online not much people will risk downloading it..

We just becomes zombies for a month when a decent hardcore game comes out then die again.
Gamers and non gamers alike will buy this game some out of curiosty some desperate to get fit and others because they have too much money, but lets stop the hate on N4G and start to spread the love :D to each their own and all that.

The chart makes pretty perfect sense and I'll agree with The Killer.
But I'll buy the PS3 as soon it has a price drop to £200.
But if I remember correctly the Wii ain't competing with the ps360...and the sales kind of prove it's away on it's own....
I thought the DS games where rather good especially the FF3 remake...
But Games + Cellphone = X it's a no go area....cellphones are to call people nothing more.
I think they mean the sales of games are low in comparison to how many consoles they sell...
But I'd say the Wii audience is 20% hardcore 65% casual and 15% Pirate....So really the game are to sell....casuals will only rarely buy games and if they do it's part games, pirates rarely buy any games and hardcores are a fussy bunch.

Seriously how do you know he is just a glory hog? you don't and I doubt he is. He started small made some great characters/games and now is basically a legend.

For giving me Super Mario Bros. I couldn't care either way.
I bought a Wii knowing full well what it was capable of....I bought it for new experiences and new ways to play....consoles at a point will run out of places to go with graphics and I thought Nintendo's idea of a new controller interface was good and refreshing.
And people buy the 360 because you get shop warranties and an extended MS warranty....And they all want the console with the most current-gen games.

So the Wii might get yet another crappy spin-off not even close to being as good to the other current-gen versions.....Who doesn't love those?
