The difference when Nintendo makes a new game based on an old IP it is generally fun....If it was total rubbish it would be panned and no one would touch it.

About 60 hours of gaming but it was several games...
And I regularly play game for 12 hours+ sometimes I don't sleep over the weekend and walk into college on the Monday off my head. Good times.

Although I think 08 looked better does it play better? you can't get a real grasp of gameplay from watching videos....So maybe it's really fun?
Yeah the games sound good. Well some of them.
I really like the Wii and only about 15 of those games are must haves and their not even concrete existing titles yet! and of the other titles about 10-15 look good.
Lets just hope they play good! Oh and exist in some cases ;)

20K sales in JPN for NG2 is a big SUCCESS. This is JPN & 36o we're typing about here. Anything over 13k in sales over there is an achievement.

It's far too early to be talking GOTY already. GTA4 will be like HAlo3 it gets hyped supposed to be the best thing since the invention of internet porn and it fails to live up to it all.
MGS4 is a likely winner but we still have E3 to see what may be coming out for the holiday season.
GOTY normally goes to the strongest 1 player game and not strongest multiplay4er game. If it was best multi MK:W/SSBB look good and matbe GOW2/R2 etc. have a chance.

I liked the demo....like an upgraded version of the old GC game I played.
The 1 on 1 fighter for the DS i thought was better as did the Wii(the controls where great).
But it's still a good fighter and has plenty of cheesy lines! it's worth at least 6/10. And if the online mode is lag-free or nearly then 7/10.
You can't judge the gameplay from pictures but gamers are scared off my over cuteness. Especially over cuteness with what appears to be bad graphics.
If Z&W is anything to go by it could be great.

I like XBL, it's easy to use, free, it's easy to mute people/ prefer or not prefer them and sometimes the stupid bickering is quite funny.

I would have easily paid £150...even without games....Damn it sucks it's US only and now it's gone completely :( Maybe next time...
The screen shots aren't great but It's exclusive to Wii so it shouldn't look like a ps2 game....Besides it's the gameplay that I'm more interested in and to a lesser extent story(I doubt there will be much of one).
Nintendo didn't deserve the sales after locking the Wii to only Korean made games. It's bad enough there's a region lock on all Wiis but this takes the biscuit.
Besides even if the Wii isn't is easy as the DS to hack it's still pretty easy and all the games fit on conventional DVDs so I thought the piracy may have boosted console sales.
Out of the 25 or so movies I watched this month.....all where digital and none where paid for and I know lots of people like myself. Digital is only the future for pirates and those who don't like getting ripped off.
And your right I still have a VHS player in use! and it only costs like £15 for a DVD player these days...
If offered a free download or DVD? I'd take the DVD.
Your lucky having such a TV....I'd rather watch digital because it's easier and I have a bigger monitor....I know that's quite sad :(
And some people...like me...don't notice any difference in HD compared to SD.
As long as it's not something for ps2 and wii with tacked on crappy controls........
But I'm one of those few crazy people who enjoyed Lost Planet and wouldn't mind a Wii port.
I'll admit I haven't played my Wii in about a week (I got NG2) But saying that shaking the wimote etc. to something is samey, then heck what about normal game pads? Push X to jump etc. that's very SAMEY.
Also there may be ALOT of ps2s sold alot of people got it as a cheap DVD player and maybe that's what they see a ps3 as(cheap blu-ray player).
Maybe since they got a ps2 as a cheap DVD player and rarely play it(ie casualy) they saw the Wii as the next step up?
