I can't comment on the SS but the move controls are great when firing from the hip but god awful when aiming down your sights.
Resistance 3 had a much better campaign than Killzone 3 imo but Killzone's multiplayer is superior. Multiplayer in Resistance is still a lot of fun but it's having a lot of problems with lag :/ BUT couch coop on superhuman is a blast! Definitely well worth the purchase.
GIMME GIMME GIMME!!!
It's all about getting the calibration right. this person is obviously new to motion controls so 1) he sucked and 2) it probably wasn't calibrated correctly to begin with. once you get it down it's actually a LOT of fun to use in shooters. Play killzone or metroid and you'll get it.

The repair skill does add to the depth of the game because you always have to keep in mind the condition of your equipment and be ready before a quest. I think Tony P's sollution would be the best of both worlds.
That's why you get the girlfriend to by it for ya ;) And yes it's worth the price. You get a Dragon. What better center piece than a world eating Dragon?
Resistance is far from "crap". both games are above an 85 on metacritic and have some of the best mechanics, gameplay, and story for a shooter this gen.
14 to 70? quite the improvement.
Incredible hardware, specs, and game line up. I just wish that they would quit showing off Near, and instead show us the web browser and video chat.
Maybe not to you but i don't like continuations of the same thing. I would much rather have my favorite developers take some extra time to provide a fresh take on the experience in the next entry rather than having a part 1, part 2, etc. I mean do you really not think that 4 games for a franchise in a single console generation is too much? I like how Bethesda and Irrational do sequels. Oblivion was released and followed a couple years later by a new ip, fallout 3. then they passed the b...
I hope in skyrim you can make notes on the in-game map. There were so many instances where i would find a safe/chest that i couldn't open yet because my lockpick skill wasn't high enough. Then when i finally got my lockpick to 100 i couldn't remember where the treasure was :(
1)Call of Duty
2)Assassin's Creed
:) There's your reasons.
Gingers, come on now get it right.
I think it should be an option for the campaign maybe but it would make the multiplayer unbalanced. dualshockers would basically be forced to switch to mouse because they would get their asses handed to. and if everyone just switches over to mouse and keyboard then... isn't that turning the ps3 into a pc? silliness.
@analrapist
best.show.ever.
well aren't you just Mr. deep and brooding.
I concur. the controls in Resistance to me just feel right. better mechanics than any other shooter out there this gen. not to mention the story is leagues above cod, killzone, etc. I really don't get why it gets attacked by everyone. And uncharted is good but why does no one ever mention how cheesy it is?!?! i mean come on, sure the production value is incredible and the gameplay's fun but I can't help but feel like i'm watching national treasure. haha.
The music in the trailer kinda reminds me of zelda.

Yes, I'm gonna be THAT guy who pulls up review scores rather than arguing. They're both great games guy.
One of my favorite things about Resistance 3 that surprised me is that once you beat the game you unlock cheat codes and behind the scenes videos. I miss cheat codes this gen. Not the "invincible" or "unlimited ammo" cheats but the goofy ones like "big head mode" and shit. There a good incentive and make you want to play through the game again not giving a damn and just playing like a badass.
