Do any of you know if there are any combat mods for this? It used to be my favorite game but I can't seem to get back into it because of the bizarre fighting system.
Sorry, I had to.
@BuffaloBoobies
1)Get off your high horse
2)Obviously, the whole point of a business is to make a profit. BUT, as rdgneoz3 pointed out already, there's a big difference between reselling a game for $55 and reselling a game for $40-$45. There are much more respectable companies that would be willing to give you a better offer for your games but people, for some reason, ignore these companies and continue going to gamestop. Also, gamestop's employees a...
Resistance is best played with dual shock but killzone 3 is much better with move imo. Seriously, if you play killzones online multiplayer with the dualshock you will get your ass kicked.
So basically, for the price of a 20gb ps3 at launch you're now able to get a 160gb ps3 and a game AND a 3DTV. Fuck me sideways.
Like Drake said, you can't view your character in the menu anywhere. And I didn't mean that the item quick-switch system doesn't work, I just meant there's too much delay between when you press right/left on the dpad and your character takes out his weapon. I don't know about other classes but I use a two-hand weapon character and it takes for EVER to take out my battle axe.
Silly Complaints. It's an opinion piece so he's entitled to his opinion but none of the things he mentioned bother me. My only complaints are:
1)It takes forever to switch weapons by pressing right and left on the dpad(totally defeats the purpose)and...
2)The only way to view your character is by switching to 3rd person.
And that's it.
I hope they add a screen in the inventory menu that lets you see your character. I mean sure you can switch to 3rd person but it's just nice to be able to open up the menu and see your character clearly and easily. Odd that they removed it in the first place.
Good Article. I especially agree with his point on melee combat. I know most "hardcore" gamers get off on hating motion controls but you can't deny that if there was a genre to benefit from their inclusion, it would be RPGs. I mean seriously. But as a whole this game is brilliant.
Finally the full details were released! It's coming in December with 32gb for $499. And there's 2 different colors!

At the AsiaD conference Jonney Shih said that the Transformer Prime would have its official unveiling on the 9th but all the other sources i've read point to the 9th being the actual release date! I hope that's true.
Dude it's a 200+ hour game on a single playthrough, are you being serious?
@Blacktric
What are you talking about? Oblivion was not ported by a third party company and the ps3 version actually turned out to be superior over the 360 version, granted they had an extra year to smooth it out. And Fallout 3 looks identical on both platforms aside from a few glitches that were addressed shortly after launch. Fallout NV was made by Obsidian so that isn't even relevant.
Got the CE for ps3 ordered on amazon. I'd say you're safe because the ps3 version of oblivion and fallout 3 were practically identical to the 360 version.

Don't be cheap.

Yes. Yes we do. After playing Morrowind, Oblivion, and Fallout, Bethesda games are really the only games I look forward to now. Well that and Bioshock Infinite.
Very true. Plus it's incredibly hard finding quality action figures these days that aren't halo or star wars. It shall be my Thanksgiving centerpiece! muahaha... Still it would be awesome if they decided to include some free dlc. A man can dream.
OK so it's kinda beginning to piss me off that I paid $150 for the collector's edition and they're just releasing all this stuff to the public for free. I mean that's awesome that more people get to experience it but I wish they would include some sort of incentive like free dlc in the CE.
I thought the same thing until I actually saw it in my room. It's honestly the perfect size by my bed and anything larger would be unnecessary. Really, the only major con is that the screen is VERY reflective so if you were planning on placing it by a window, that's something to keep in mind.
