See, this is where E3 PRESS CONFERENCE comes into play. A live stream allows the flow of information in real time. A booth that I will not attend doesn't help me at all, nor a closed door 'press presentation.'

Xbox 360 did not succeed as a 'media device.' Your average consumer saw it as a hardcore game console, halo etc.. It was not seen as a media center or living room hub. That would be the PS3 due to the inclusion of bluray. That's just reality.
Now Microsoft intends to turn it around with Xbox One. Hence all the media talk. So in a few months we'll see if it pays off.
These two consoles can't launch soon enough. Let's get this new generation officially started.

Nintendo hasn't even appeared on my radar for months now. The only articles I see about nintendo are negative ones about developers dropping support or lacking games etc etc..
With nintendo not even having a public E3 press conference this year, it's become fairly irrelevant what nintendo does. I don't have time to wait for slow information to trickle in about wiiu, while PS4/Xbox are available via LIVE STREAM....
The foolish attempt at marketing it as a cable box substitute/companion won't work. It just wont.

Consumers don't care about anything on wiiu, or the console itself. It's trailing the psp in sales. Use E3 as a major spotlight, to showcase the flailing console.

E3 confrences are used to generate immediate press. Closed door conferences mean that you're afraid to compete. That's literally what it means. It's a horrific strategy that's being implemented...

Plants Vs. Zombies was amazing on a smartphone. Beats the PS3/Xbox/PC anyday.
I hate to say this, but I would spend whatever they charged me. This game is like the GOD of mobile gaming.
That being said, it'll be cheap either way. So it's not like "whatever they charge" means anything over $15.
Every new gen it's the same thing lol.
We just have to accept that backwards compatibility is not going to be present in any of the new machine.
They'll force you to stream the games for a price.
