@Prubar -I swear I remember reading somewhere that Naughty Dog wasn’t going to be done with the game once it was released. It was implied they’d be doing an even bigger MP experience than the first game. Just releasing later. crossing fingers!
It’s laughable to say that one game with a small following is going to have such an affect on “diehard Playstation” fans. If Halo can’t do it…seriously?? The fans that this game may seduce are Xbox diehards that had hardly any amazing exclusives this whole generation.

Couldn’t be further from the truth. Horizon? Huge! God of War? Huge! Ratchet and Clank? Highest grossing title ever for Insomniac til.....Spider-Man. Which also has been huge. Until Dawn? Bloodborne? Huge! The Last of Us? Uncharted 4? Uncharted: Lost Legacy? Even Days Gone is selling very well! Not sure what your expectations are.
Over 90 million units sold with some of the best games this generation baby. Uncharted, God of War, Horizon, and Spider-man. If you like Nintendo type games you gotta play Ratchet and Clank baby! Then get a switch when you’re done. 😂

Sony has yet to have a console that didn’t end up worth every penny so maybe it’s more trust in the product. I think you’re meaning Xbox has fans that will be there just cause they have “mindshare”. Xboxone has what to show for it? What exclusives are so good that you would forgo all of Sony’s exclusives. I am surprised at xbox fans this generation. Only fans would look at the libraries of games and pick Xbox.
I’m pretty sure Bungie wants to stay away from being with a parent company. If I remember right they watched as Halo changed everything but instead of getting crazy rich they watched the developers of Gears get crazy rich and Bungie got “bonuses”. I imagine that must have really sucked!

Spider-Man is the most recognized super hero in the world. I can guarantee millions of fans will disagree with you about Spider-Man being played out. The sales will show proof. That being said what do you suggest? What hero game are you wanting?

@Skull Yes, he is comparing Sony’s worst console generation beating Xbox’s best ever even with a whole year headstart and using tech which for a time was being developed by Sony and IBM.
Yet I look at this console generation and cannot for the life of me see why a person would buy an Xbox unless they were absolutely loyal. What game is so great that you gotta play on that box? A loyal Halo fan? Maybe a loyal Forza fan?? It’s either that or they have no idea of the games they’re missing out on.
Nintendo says Hi. Games are always enough. History has shown that for decades. All the way back to Nintendo vs Sega. Microsoft needs amazing games or it’s more of the same from this generation.
