The best option would be to sell their “game pass service” on the PlayStation platform. Why not? If they don’t care to “sell their new console” then why not make their games available to the highest selling console on the market?
darthv72 explained it well. With Series X they've shown the system so there's no more excitement or anticipation. It's old news. Then they had their "game reveal"...yikes. (let down!) With PS5 even xbox fans are dying with anticipation for Sony reveals. The only difference is they're hoping for bad news so they can sling mud. lol
Ok Donnie81 I'll go ahead and say no I honestly don't think the Series X can run that demo better. There. :)
"[The PS5] puts a vast amount of flash memory very, very close to the processor,” says Sweeney. “So much that it really fundamentally changes the trade-offs that games can make and stream in. And that’s absolutely critical to this kind of demo,” Sweeney explained.
Let me clarify for darthv72. A Semi has way more "power" than a Civic Type R but the Civic is gonna be faster and more fun to drive! haha My Diesel truck was fun to drive as well. Just a lot bigger and harder to zip around. ;)

Sony wasn't there. That was all EPIC showcasing their amazing tech on the highest platform. Real gameplay directly recorded from the HDMI port of the PS5. If they want to show off their tech, which they want people to use, wouldn't they choose the best representation? What does that say about the Series X?
I think part of EPICs demo was that Sony was the highest platform. So......instead, let's see if Series X can run games as well as the PS5?
@ Mandigo -No, showing a playable demo is better than showing a bunch of CG for "real games".
Kavorklestein, you need to watch the demo and interview. Epic, says the PS5 is world class. They also talk about how no PC is like it. Not even state of the art PC's. I highly doubt the xbox would run it better, maybe similar at best. They imply they can make games on the highest fidelity "like this", referring to their demo running on the PS5, then scale down for other consoles and devices. There isn't going to be anything structured like the PS5 until gaming PC's are r...
Well, isn't just about any PS4 game going to be playable on the PS5? So... If I buy Madden for the PS4 then later the PS5 comes out....I put the disc in the PS5 and it plays, right!? It should include upgrading. Maybe their point is you can buy the Xbox series X game and play it on your Xbox one till you get the Series X. However games won't be out for the Series X until the system is out, so ... now.....back to square one. WTH? Is this just a marketing thing? Sounding like you're...
Wait… I’m pretty sure it doesn’t matter because they said Sony and Nintendo aren’t their competition. 😂
Wait what!?? You’re talking smack about a product that will actually have competition for sales?? Microsoft’s has proprietary external memory you have to buy from them and them only. Are you out your mind!? Let’s see how much Microsoft charges for their external SSD first.
Would you kiss Jesus's feet with that mouth? lol I just had to
Lolz ..... Lets wait to see Ghosts of Tsushima and The Last of Us 2. Even if they're in "awful 30 fps". You definitely will not and I repeat -You will Not see anything like them anywhere else. ;)
Sure but I would prefer having the option to have the largest collection of games so I could see if I liked them or not, compared to the couple or few exclusives and other 3rd party games on the other system. I cannot wait for Ghosts of Tsushima and The Last of Us 2. With that said I'm not dumb enough to say I wouldn't like Halo and maybe Gears, but.......neither has been my thing lately. (I'd probably still buy them but I didn't see the need to get another system for them thi...
Maybe the idea that they really don't even have to announce anything. They have so many in house developers that have made very good games and that means a consumer can say with very strong confidence that there will be many more very good games to come.
What games has Microsoft announced? I may have missed something but its almost pure speculation and one sequel to a game that was appreciated but not a big seller?
I think he's trying to say one sold more than 110 million and the other just over 40 million. Like one is popular and the other one people will defend regardless? ;)
Load times are a huge part of the frustration. Can’t wait to check it out on the PS5. Load times should be non existent? I love the concept of the game. Flying around in a powerful suit was a blast.
