This was one of the best gaming experiences for me of the last decade ... amazing game, story, palyability and immersion. I will replay the remaster to enjoy this gem again.
i would say .. do not pre-order and buy only when fully backed and if it receives a 80+ user score on Metacritics, this is my standard now for AAA games.
i paid 100 euros for the gold edition of 2042 and started playing on day one and we all know how it did go. So yes ... no more pre-orders for EA games (and Unisoft for that matter).

Due to my horrible experience on the pre-order of that shitshow that has been bf 2042 at launch and its souldless gameplay afterward I feel compelled to tell the EA CEO that they will have my money only when the new game will be in the discount bin !!! Thieves !!!

It's EA .... so they *might* get my money 6 months after launch ... after the pre-order fiasco of 2042 I have lost faith in their capacity of coming up with anyrhing near the same level of involvement of Battlefield V (one of the best in the serie IMHO).

Big kid with 4090 here .... I use my GPU for gaming and productive work (AI, Machine learning, Video and 3D productions), I never use frame generation when I am gaming, tried maybe once just to see the difference, not a big fan of it to be honest. Just a big surprised that NVidia is focusing his message around DLLS 4 for the added value that these cards will bring to the table .... hinestly I am a bit concerned with the trend and direction this industry is taking.

IMHO these are not gpus for gamesrs and they did not have gamers in mind when spec-ing them up .... with 32GB of ram and more than 3000 AI tops have nothing to do with games. Yes games will run better for sure (w/ or w/Out DLLS 4) but here in Europe we will have to pay north of €2K or even €3K for the 5090 RTX, and it is absolutelly overkill.
Moreover having powerfull card makes developer lazy as they will poorly optimize games as they rely on the FPs (real or synthetic) generated b...
A game whch bends 90 degrees forward for hyper monetization is not a game anyone should play. But we all know that the CoD sheeps with deep pockets think otherwise. Ths together with Battlefield 2042, Fortnite, anything that comes from EA and Bethesda are on my black list and I stick to not playing it.

I have to say that I prefer way more the feeling of immersion of BF V than any other (recent) game of the series. The Audio is very immersive, playing with a squad of friends make it feel as part of a team with a mission and with a commanded in charge. The perks for which you can deploy bombs or other amenities over your enemies was just majestic and the maps where you can destroy prettymuch anything were top notch. .. but this is just my opinion. in BF 2042 you cannot even tell who are the e...
