In theory it is expected that a small percentage of some new hardware will break right after it will powereed on, it is the normal life expectancy of a new piece of equipment. So this is not new news.
It would be interesting to see if the overall build quality justifies the premium price. I have my doubts.
the big miss is the lack of OLED screen, which is a not go for me.
Hey Nick ... i always thought that embargoes are a bit of a damage control strategy instead. Means if the reception of the game behind closed doors is not that great the producer does not want to get the sour word out.

Aren't review embargoes mandatory/necessary for those games which have been hyped up but are coming out in a not so decent state ? I heard DS2 has got excellent feedbacks from those who plaied it behind closed doors ... so why is that ? Even "Kojima Productions is pretty confident in the quality of its upcoming title", so what is the matter? Possible spoilers ?
The open world areas are alright and fairly intricate in their design. There are not that many athmospherical effects nor deptjh of field or other prost processing effects, however the game is fun. Imagine Devil May Cry in space with a decent upgrade system for moves and weapons. Some fights are a bit frustrating and need to be won following a certain strategy. Characters are alright, feel a bit stiff at times. The game is definitivellty worth a look. Played on PS5 basic and quite enjoyed it....

After I burnt 100 quids on the gold edition of 2042 with a blind pre-order and for as much as they are creating hype on secondary features like the 120 fps thing .... my humble suggestion is to wait for the game to actually release, have it reviewed by REAL gamers and NOT paid Youtubers and if it hits 86 or above on users' review on MetaCritics it will be a buy for me. Any lack of maps, variety, gameplay or key features that they have implemented in other BF game will be a NO GO on my end...

The game is so good that I replayed it again and enjoyed it even more. Great game which should definitivelly deserve a sequel.
So MS has made XBOX irrelevant ... now they are trying with the other consoles .... not a bad strategy after all ! :)
Microsfot has put XBOX on life support, XBOX is not relevant anymore with respect to Ps5 / PS5 Pro and Switch 1/2. SONY (partially) and Nintendo (mainly) can rely on exclusives which justify the purcahse of their hardware, XBOX is indeed just a cheap PC on which you can run Gamepass Games at a price. There is no other way to look at it.
Strategic move from MS, Nintendo and SONY so that all of us can start enjoying the outdoors more. As for MS, not that they are selling Xbox much ... this is probably going to put the final nails in the coffin for their current gen hardware. Ad Majora ....
