Scariest game was erm... I forgot the name. I think it had the word butterfly in it. You took pictures of ghosts in an old house.
It was only scary because I live in a 100 year old house, I was all alone, had a good surround system and TV, and my friends have claimed to have seen ghosts. Though I have never seen 'em, only heard them but they were probably just mice.

There have been countless problems with every SOCOM game at launch. Except with Zipper it took them 3 months for one patch....
Oh, and with Zipper, there were more glitches than you could imagine. On SOCOM II in Crossroads... x.x.... T-Boning into the walls and going under buildings and shooting people across the map through walls. Hiding under stairs. Planting the bomb anywhere glitch. Locking the guns. Shooting RPG rockets out of a model 18 and locking the game up. Code Magic ...
The servers are the only problem. The weapons are a little bit unbalanced but that, and n00bs who use 203s, m60s/mk .48's, f90s, rockets, and full auto shottys need to leave. Those are the only things that hurt the game.
Stop complaining and play the game. The only time the game freezes is in ranked rooms. I could play a respawn for 5+ hours and wouldn't have any freezing at all.
The only server problems were the first couple days, now its gotten much better.

This game is fantastic. I absolutely love it. The only problems I have are the fact that the weapons are unbalanced. People are too used to COD4 and love to use n00b cannons the entire time as well. Read my review for details(w00t spam!!).
Anyway, GameSpot really gave this score worse than it deserves. No lower than a 7.5 I say. I can understand that people would be angry over day 1 server issues, and it does have its problems here and there, but it seems to have been fixed with...
A poor mans COD? How? It's the same price, just online only. Unlike COD4 this game takes skill, not spray n' pray. SOCOM is about using tactics and brains against the enemy. You cannot rush people, you cannot win without teamwork, you can't do anything unless you use your brain.
Considering my 7 year old nephew can play COD4 pretty well, and can't play SOCOM at all(SOCOM I, II, or III online or offline, and Confrontation) really says something...
There is an excellent game under the technical issues. The only time there are any freezing issues is in ranked games. I only had freezing problems yesterday, but I just spent 5 hours of nonstop ranked room playing.

Lucky you. I can't finish one single ranked game now. I was playing tons yesterday. The game keeps freezing up on me.
I don't understand everyone's problem with this game. I've been playing at least 5 hours a day since launch. I only had network problems on day 1. Today, however, the game has frozen up on me 3 times and had to reset the PS3. It's hard to join rooms and to find ranked rooms recently, too. Don't know what the problem is.

Its definitely a buy. If you're trusting this review then you didn't read it. The dumba$$ states theres no way to leave a game in the middle of a game after being "tired of losing." You can, in two ways. Hit the start button and hit X on one of the options and take you back to the Briefing Room, or use the PS button.
And there is definitely a way to switch to grenades quickly. L1 on standard switches to your grenades.
