While people point at the quality of games for the Wii U (UNDENIABLE awesome games!) does it matter at the end of the day when you are in the business of selling them? (and you are not)
Yes, a console developer makes money from software not hardware. But if you don't sell consoles people won't buy exclusives for your console; if you don't sell consoles 3rd parties won't give you a cut for the use of your console.

DKS2 is not a bad game. The thing is, imo, Dark Souls was an artistic well though game: every little detail of the game was there for a reason. So the bar was set too high. Fromsoft did their best: gave us more levels, more weapons, more armors, more enemies, more combat options (though the combat is worse than the previous) ... still, the game lacks, idk, heart or somethin idk what is it
This won't affect the "comeback" (maybe some hardcore gamers are a bit frustrated atm); but I'm pretty sure Halo will help to sell a lot of Xbones this Xmas.
