Maybe not focus so much on graphics, maybe a little less cinematic experience, less realistic characters, less orchestras for music, less movie actors for voice overs. Maybe not focus on the things that are already being filled in different media platforms.
Maybe, just maybe a bit more focus on gameplay and on making a "fun" game.
The video game console comes complete out of the box.
The GPU requires the rest of the PC in order to be used.
Shirt logos, that's it ?
Wouldn't call these "skins" more like different clothing options.
I saw the trailer and i too can't help but draw GoT comparisons.
And as for the title, it's not uncommon to have the name of your newest project attached to similar looking games. In this case id say it would even help draw more attention towards Where Winds Meet. Who knows, might end up with even more famous than GoT.
?
Im not seeing any Playstation exclusives, seeing plenty of future PC games though.
Good, video games can be fun without open world. Didn't have it back then and is not a necessity nor a requirement today.
I still maintain the notion that Breath of the Wild is the only game to make a fun open world as of yet.
You're given the options and the tools to affect the enviroment and objects around. Almost everywhere you went there was something you could do. Set fire to the grass to create an updraft, use said updraft to elevate yourself and glid...
Ahhh MGO2.
*Cracks open a cold Regain 24*
Yep, those were the days.
Final Fantasy is still a household name, the name itself is important enough for them to be hands-on at all times.
Could've ended up diluting the series and potentially damage the brand if not handled with utmost care.
That's not to say the last few flagship titles (FFXIII/-2/Returns, FFXV) have been great so who knows, maybe if a western development team tried we might've had something very experimental, weird, fresh and maybe even something really cool.
Means absolutely f*** all.
Show us live gameplay of this "AAAA" game of yours.
Probably didn't deserve it anyway. Knowing Sony, they would have found something trivial to censor.
I get the feeling they took SMTV port as a base and reworked it into a different game to fit last and current gen platforms.
Interesting to not see Switch on confirmed platforms.
No need to get this upset over an opinion.
Seems fine to me, however no PC support is what breaks it for me. That and combined with only being used in tandem with what is probably the hardest console to obtain right now and will likely remain so for another 1 or 2 years.
Most likely online-only, so no buy for me unfortunately.
How is this "news" ?
It's an opinion piece, but reads like satire what with the not so funny jokes about in general gaming and fisting.
If you're buying this game you're:
A: buying this for the FPS aspect and enjoy most FPS games regardless of it's form and shape, that's fine.
B: buying this not for it's FPS gameplay but for it's setting, story, art style and experience in which case that's fine too.
In my opinion, If you've played past Arkane titles, this one offers little new.
*I* think it's an over marketed FPS game with Dishonored elements a...
So, no new weapons then ?
Just shields with different properties ?
Not entirely dependant on sales and im no sales expert, all iv'e learned over the years is that when things are running smoothly one usually can afford to wait a bit longer with the bigger announcements, in this case the first gameplay clip of Bayonetta 3.
The cool kinda stuff you would see as an unlockable back in the days but now turned into pre-order DLC and/or a DLC item to buy. That and cheat codes.
