I don't know what the big deal is. Instead of banning them which is a dumb idea. Just put them on mute for a year and let them keep gaming. If they want to be unmuted pay to have that service activated again.

It seems M$ is taking the PR campaign of Nintendo Wii U. They are going to put on a magic show to daze and confuse you until launch. Keep you hypnotized until you buy the Edsel of consoles. When you find out all the problems with it. Poof your money is gone.
Can't wait to see what will happen at E3. Either they will redeem themselves or Sony just pull the Fast and Furious on them. M$ might have to eat Sony's Dust for years to come.
I agree with you. It use to be worth the effort. I switched to console gaming because of DRM on PCs. Consoles were also getting more games than PCs. I don't know if I'm joining this generation of gaming. I hate to invest a lot of money into it and when they discontinue these new consoles like they are going to do with our current generation. I understand where your coming from. I know both consoles wants to maximize their profits. I just plan to go with the fairer of the two companies. Watching how XBL evolved and seeing where they are going may not be the direction I'm going to choose. Sony seems more promising to me at this time. You know how things can change from now to then. I'm enjoying all this banter for now. I just hope when it comes time to pull out the wallet that all gamers get the console of their dreams...
At this point I'm more likely to buy a PS4 at launch than a Xbox1. The Xbox1 is sounding more like an Edsel of consoles. It won't run unless you put a lot of money into it. I plan to sit back an watch the MS launch of Xbox1 and see how it does for a couple of years. Odds are I'm getting a PS4 at launch. Sony is showing a lot of class. They are on the side of the gamers. Microsoft is being really despicable. They should of done the reveal wearing hooded masks. LoL
The other thing I noticed they did not specifically say if it will play Blu-ray movies & 3D movies from the disk drive. This console will not be cheap. If they are trying to be next generation and skip these two basic features then Sony has won the Next Generation Console War. I hugged my Wii U after the reveal. I can't imagine how much power that console is going to use in standby mode and in use. It looks large too. I might have to buy a new entertainment system that can hold it. Still don't know if the Blu-ray drive will play movies(3d Movies too.) That maybe the deciding factor for me. Loved the Reveal. Instead of "Xbox on" should have been "Xbox one" Why couldn't answer back in a sexy voice? (Like Siri) Then it could be every man's and women's dream....
Star Trek was always an Intellectual/personality driven show first and action second. You get to know everyone/everyalien on a more personal level and enjoy the conflicts/struggle and the clever conclusions.
Speeding through the story just takes out some of that magic. I enjoyed the movie. I hope that they get a little more Roddenberry's formula into the mix or they might loose more credibility.
I loved the movie. I seen it twice. The first go I felt like you. Seen it 2D first and then 3D. 3D was much better. Once you get over the knee jerk reaction you'll appreciate it more. Interesting article. We are probably in the zenith of gaming history. With new consoles coming out, makes you wonder if we are going to make it through to the next generation or will it stall out for a while. Many current gamers and soon be senior gamers may be dropping out. There's only so many hours of COD/Halo one can take. The younger gamers are probably going to carry the ball from this point on.

That is true. One thing the article did not really address whether the gamepad is viewable in outdoor environment. It's not really bright indoors as it stands. Keep the dream alive for portable outdoors gaming. I'm sure with some tweaks the PS4 & Xbox720 can be played in a car too. 8D

We still don't know all the features and software. XB1 will definitely has a better UI. I seen the ports on the rear of the console and can understand how it is going to work with the cable box. The ports on the PS4 are pretty standard. I never enjoyed the heat being blown on my cables from the PS3 and the PS4 maybe has no difference (especially in an entertainment center having heat issues).
