I'm really hoping for a absolutely killer console from them. I loved Nintendo, but it's just lacking in 3rd party games in the home console department. Not hating, I still play brawl on my wii, or at least for until recently and I used my DS to the bitter end last month, just not enough incentive to buy a WiiU for me PERSONALLY. Hopefully this will achieve UHD (2k) or 4K, or at the very least outdo the competition, then I would buy an NX in a heartbeat. I need my smash bros fix, the d...
Should work for infinity ward. Nothing but gold, diamonds (camos), and a bunch of s*** only a ten year old with no taste would buy – just like his music
And that's why we (as a collective) should stop caring. He's a f***boy with too much money and too little brains.
The irony of "some nerd on N4G".
I have played it, got to try the MP and its nothing like what he describes.
Hitbox accuracy is on point, he just doesn't know how to aim
The textures are precisely where the physical walls are, so crashes are more realistic
He's just a negative POS author man, and while you may not take Chivas word, take mine.
I never understand this. Yes, it takes superior strategy, and resourcefulness for BF games but CoD takes reaction speed (unless you camp, in which case I agree it takes 0 skill). I had a .089 kd in CoD the year before I bought a battlefield game, after which it shot up to 4.5 on BF4. I don't get it, they're different beasts, one isn't "easier", just more simple skills.
However, this author clearly has neither marksmanship nor strategy. Really sounds like a...
I feel you're right. But I also sense some games will flop due to dev practices, and the industry will truly grow
But Microsoft endorsed (oculus deal with FB included) tech was the entire "coolest technology" sector, with oculus beating out Morpheus, so you can calm down, IGN isn't out to kill Xbox.
@bickers
He has a point, if anything your comment is immature, his was just a figure of speech.
Dude. Eat a Vickers, you overreact even you're hungry
I would find AoM amazing as a tabletop hololens game, especially as my remastered edition just stopped working
The rumor I heard was ~400-500 because of dedicated hardware within the device. Hoping it'll be less
Or all the pros who will need to buy new scufs
Exactly, their motion controls can be remapped, they function in similar ways, there's already 3rd party motion controls on the market that will most likely be compatible.
If not, mods.
However, I have seen the occasional intelligent and well said comment from someone with 2 bubbles who had an unpopular opinion. But for the most part the bubble system works well, as for every good there's 10, 15 moronic comments or fanboy nonsense.
If only the approval system were as good, Ready FOR Dawn is a doozy -_-
Being independent would be good for them, oculus is giving money to indie studios that develope for the rift too so it makes sense. I didn't know that it was a multiplatform engine, could be interesting to see if they bring it to Morpheus too, maybe even Vive as well!
I know right? Ridiculous, why haven't their jobs been cut? They've been hanging by a thread, their web is collapsing, they've lost their ability to climb, and my Spidey senses tell me I should cut out the awful puns immediately.
Seeing as this is the team who has made spider man games worse and worse each time, don't put much faith that it will run at all. I expect delays from this weak studio, or a "normal" cod with very little next gen features in it.
Good idea on console, for Morpheus, in order to attract sales.
On PC though, it'll just bring bad press and temporary headaches for modders to break through the iron curtain of hardware before it's playable on both.
It's the first paragraph "How much is the Rift going to cost and when is it coming out?". He's right, Q1 is too vague for me
According to the 100 000 DKs sold by oculus, you are wrong :)
@Rawrock
Valid point, but think if they could one-up the graphics of something like Uncharted 4 or Halo 5, or bring that next gen Zelda to NX. A photorealistic metroid or smash bros (of course traditionally cartoon characters would stay cartoon), would have gamers screaming "TAKE MY MONEEEEY" and 3rd party support would be huge after that. E3 2016 reveal with a 2017 release, a new gamepad, a new spiritual GameCube and a stacked 1st party lineup with some possible ne...
