Going digital was the best choice I made personally, the cost of a 2tb hdd was less than what I would pay in taxes and I get instant access :D but I only buy exclusives and launch games on PS4, anything else can wait for steam sales! That said I spend about the same on both platforms, and I will definitely be spending my money on this!
Very big disappointment, honestly. I think the market for that power of console is saturated, and they need to go above and beyond to at least 1440p capable.

Have to admit, the screenshot shared by you wasn't mind blowing in comparison, but it definitely it an improvement. Doesn't come close might be pushing it..
That said the first screen in the article there is a very noticeable jump in graphical effects, textures and... Dat booty, just couldn't help it :)

Actually it's a really good plan, but it definitely takes a lot of self control with all these crazy good games coming out. I've had to do it recently myself to save money, created a heavy backlog on PSN and Steam with PS+, humble bundle/steam sales, and a ton of new games on both platforms in order to play basically free aside from PSN for the next two years.
I'm fine with waiting 2 years, I can't really afford not to :) but hey, 2...
Yeah, I mean it's very important to me in particular but in my eyes if you're buying it because of split screen are you really impressed with the rest of the game?
I'll preorder BF but R6 can wait, no split screen there (which is ridiculous, they could have had local terror hunt). At least EA and Activision see the demand for it
Yeah kinda thought that was the point of progression, to play until you unlock stuff. Better currency than a very niche challenge like BF4, those assist medals were brutal

Actually boot times are not much different at all, the hybrid performance is closer to SSD than HDD and for the money you don't need an SSD and an HDD, just a hybrid.
So far I'm completely torn between the two, and have the steam controller preordered and tall stick covers on the DS4. I have to say, without those they're interior to the XB1 and with them it's equal so the elite looks to take it a step further. If I've got enough left over after all the games, Vive, and crazy good deals this year I'll probably pick it up. Who am I kidding of course I'm going to!
