In all honesty it doesn't matter who wins the console war. In the end, we the gamers are going to benefit. The way I look at it is, buy the system that has the games you like and not limit yourself to one brand. I have a 360 at the moment and right now the PS3 doesn't do anything for me. I have to disagree with you here. At E3 they said that they were launching in Spring of 2006. You and I know that was never going to happen but they said it was so it makes it a delay no matter how you slice it. I'm sure they said to keep investers happy but nonetheless they said it. actually, if it costs an extra $100 per console like you say, than if they sell 10,000,000 consoles it would cost them an extra 1,000,000,000. That is where they are getting that figure from.
How have they lost the console war? The 360 has been out for almost a year now and they are thinking about the next system. That is normal. Do you think they start looking at developing new systems 3 or 4 years after a system has been out. It takes a while to get a new system developed. Also Sony has made a few comments about the PS4 about not even using disks and the PS3 is not even out yet. So I guess they lost the war by what you're saying
they've always stated that they wouldn't release a demo before launch or not one at all. Why release it after launch, everybody I know is getting this game.

I don't think that you jumped the gun. You would think that they would want to start TGS with a bang and then go from there. I'm going to agree with the Mart on this one. Have any of the games you mentioned made $125,000,000 in one day? I didn't think so. I'm not saying that those games won't be big sellers, but it will be nowhere close to Halo 3. I'm sure that it will surpass the Halo 2 mark in terms of money and copies.
