I think it depends compleatly on how well the PS3 will do, if the PS3 can do what the PS2 did Sony can afford to delay. 2008 is an important year.

In HMV (main UK highstreet retailer)at the start of the year I remember shelf space for HD movies was 50/50 between the two formats, now every store I go into, including virgin, gamestation etc, its about 66%/33% in blu-ray's favor.
Good score from EDGE, I think they gave Gears a 8. I do think they have a slight nintendo bias though, looking at their past reviews.

From the UK I've no idea what black friday is, all I know is I wish I had those deals here. Nothing even close to that till our holiday, boxing day (December 26th).

MK, I agree with you, in principle. But in reality, if they do this then it will be open season for 'flamewars'. As like it or not people will still take the different reviews as FACT that one version of a game is better then another. When the same reviewer might have given them both equal scores.

I miss-read this and thought it was another 3.5/10. Glad its not though, Time Crisis games are great, the new light gun looks good as well, cannot wait. (though in Europe I think I'll be waiting longer)
