"although it is understood that Paramount has reserved the right to switch its backing to Blu-ray."
I did not know this, well lets see what happens by the end of the week.
By EDGE I asume you mean the UK mag. & if so I don't see the problem, I've found EDGE to be a balanced mag with a leaning towards Nintendo but no Sony/MS leanings.
Was there really any chance of you getting any version other then the 360?
Thanks for the views resistance, I'll get it when its out in the UK.
Sorry Bladestar, but Warhawk beats anything i've downloaded on my 360.
Got Pixal Junk Racers 2 weeks ago & still waiting for PAIN,
High Velocity Bowling & Everyday Shooter in UK (hopefully today).
Why no UK everyday shooter?
How good is the quality?
I was thinking of getting one but then read this review...
In the 'What hi-fi? Sound and Vision' gave it 2/5 "Great games machine but it is not a jack of all trades"
Is that like a sneak preview? As only the European numbers have been released.
I find it ammusing that the PS2 is selling as well as it does. I wonder how long in Europe it will continue to outsell the PS3 & 360?
I wonder if you can sit at a PC and use the internet browser & play your music on a stereo system at the same time! If so I'll be on it a lot.
Edit:
Sorry, I mean being able to use the PS3's full internet browser within your Home apartment or something. I know you will be able to display pictures & play videos, just wondering if you have to leave home to browse the internet?
If you want bright varied colours you have Ratchet. Please also note we have only seen the ONE level. We have no idea what other environments the game will be based in.
Edit: @bellow. I believe I only say positive things in post 1 & 5.1. In the others I am asking questions or give neutral comments. I even say Killzone 2 won't look as good as Crysis in one post (that got me a few disagrees). I have a 360 & look forward to gears 2. & yes i'm pressing refresh, i'm try...
I've also got to play Killzone Liberation, I assume its all part of the same story. I don't like missing out. As soon as I heard about Ratchet TOD I had to buy the previous ones I didn't have!
I recently got Killzone, I want to finish it before this comes out.
However I don't think it will be near Crysis, that game is above & beyond anything i've ever seen.
Was it true the demo level took up 2gb?
If so will it take up more space now with the improved graphics?
You gained a bubble, I can now see you comment, welcome back.
A double sided blu-ray disk! Killzone on one side, Resistance 2 on the other. I know it would never happen, but what a disk.
Wow, I really like numbers 8 & 9. I would like to see some extra levels or environments though.
It just happens some times, happened to me & I don't know how. Don't worry though you don't get any extra points for it!
I think ultimatly the lifespan of the PS3 depends on its sales. But I think the PS2 will have at least 10 years in it. I for one never played a Ratchet game before the PSP one & after I heard about the PS3 version I brought all the PS2 versions. I'm sure others will do the same & if they have not got a backwards compatable PS3, they need a PS2.
Played it on my PS3, it alright, big at 1.7 GB but it does come with 4 player split-screen mulitplayer though no online.
