I wonder if I'll actually play the game, I love Pokemon but I've been getting tired of the franchise.
This made me want to go back to playing Left 4 Dead... I just might.
It may be promotion but it's not shameless. I actually enjoyed reading it. I didn't write the story.
Really well written review. I liked it.
I'll be hunting for a gaming related writing job in a few months, I don't see the hunt going very well lol. Hopefully this guide helps.
Those are some decent tips for getting your foot in the door of the games industry.
I've gone through the exact same thing my self in GTA, it's pretty crazy stuff.
Interesting story, I've never thought of taking that perspective in a video game before.
That is a rather hilarious video.
I've never tried Gears Horde mode with my girlfriend, that could be fun.
It depends on the site, a lot still have journalistic integrity but a few have been caught red handed giving out biased reviews.
The main issue is the fact that people keep buying CoD. It's huge, it's successful and it makes a ridiculous amount of cash.
Activision has no reason to change their current formula. They destroyed Guitar Hero and now they've destroyed Tony Hawk.
Black Ops might be a stretch, if you give the Zombie mode a chance it can be pretty fun to play with your girlfriend.
It's a good time for awhile but it gets boring, Black and white seems to be bringing a little more to the table this time so hopefully the new features will be interesting.
Violent games totally turned her into a Taylor Lautner fan:P
Yes really. I know you'll cite Doom, Wolfenstein and a number of other early to mid '90s fps games. I'm talking about when the genre gt ridiculously popular, that was the early '2000s. Arguably Golden Eye could be considered the game that popularized the genre as well.
@Dlacy13g
It sells well every year on name alone in my opinion. The franchise is super popular because it was once a great game. COD4 was great - but now gamers simply buy it because it says COD on the box.
@ultimate-remag
I actually said Killzone 3, not the original Killzone.

I think there is a difference between hardcore and 'professional.' Anyone I know who has been a fan of the Halo series since it began, (I'...
It's not flamebait. Read the story, I have a reasonably well thought out article. I also write frequently on my own gaming website www.gamejudgment.com.
Canada.com is part of the Postmedia News website (National Post) one of Canada's biggest national newspapers. So, (and I got this impression from your comment,) the website has nothing to do with the Canadian government.
As for being hard up, isn't the Canadian dollar pretty much at par with the ...
Very true, people only seem to play COD or Halo: Reach online these days, at least that's what I see when I'm online.
This looks like the biggest change in the series for me, especially graphics wise.
I think that's why people like Pokemon, I know I bash games that don't innovate all the time on Gamejudgment - but with Pokemon, if it innovated or changed significantly it really wouldn't even be Pokemon anymore.
