Lame. It's a friggin' video game, not some historical documentary piece. The logic of today's developers is laughable. Capcom takes the cake though.
Why even buy this? It'll be outdated in a little over a year. "No one left behind" my ass... November 2017 begs to differ.
Hysterical/Uninformed Feminazis & SJWs who will never touch this game: "Ewwwww... boobies. Nope, having none of that. Because. Because I said so."
Capcom/Ono: "Yes, yes SJW. Whatever you say. Bend over? Suuuure. May I have another?"
Not buying one. I invested initially for a minimum 5 year lifecycle. Sony got my money once and I'll be damned if I'm buying another one after only 3 years. Better graphics or not, can't convince me. One positive out of this though: I'll never buy a console at launch anymore. I'd rather the upgraded one if we're doing the "smartphone" business model now. And please comparing the iPhone revision schedule to a console is just plain stupid. Sony just doesn't...
(1) No SD card support
(2) No micro-USB charger port on the OG
(3) No dedicated L2/R2 buttons
(4) Overpriced memory cards
(5) Loss of first party support and lack of AAA games
(6) Price
(7) Bad marketing
(8) No TV out
(9) Unnecessary features like touchpad and dual cameras drove up manufacturing costs
All the things combined killed the Vita. That said I still love the damn thing. Sony never learned and...
Hockey sucks bro
Kind of OT, but I'll ask anyway :) ... Would it be worth it to trade-in Black Ops III & GTA V toward this game?
Microsoft is holding me back. Ugh, what a horrible company to give money to. And also, this is clearly an inventory dump in preparation for the X1 Slim this year and the X1 Scorpio next year. Sucks for those who bought at full retail back in 2013. All the while Phil Spencer dodged questions about upgraded X1 hardware arriving soon.
The developers already said they could have "easily just called this Gran Turismo 7 too"
In other words, it is essentially GT7 but with a different name now
This.
Nothing more than a rushed corporate job to capitalize on the casual cronies whose ignorance led them to part with $60 of hard-earned cash.
Shame on EA.
DAY ONE! Can't wait for the $50 Season Pass either with all the DLC that'll be coming out!
Man, CoD & Activision are the sh*t!
Thank God Sony doesn't keep offering top-down, dual-stick, indie shooters on PS+ that no one ever asked for
... oh wait
Pure trash. Completely insulting.
Won't even add these to my download list.
That's the free PS+ game for March?!? I though the voting was a nice gesture on their part for a free game (and that the March PS+ games would still be announced). Great. So excited for 8-bit crap. PS+ is a joke and they made it required for PS4 online. It was a stupid idea then and is still a stupid idea now.
First they censor the game and then they release it with barebones content focused mainly for online.
Wicked cool!!!! Way to go Capcom! Thinking of the fans as always!
Not too, too bad at that price-point. Some can still argue that it is over-priced but at the very least, EA should announce some sort of permanent lower price for this title.
This can't be fully blamed on the casual consumer. This game's shallowness has been lost in its intense marketing and release date coinciding with Christmas and the new movie. Plus the fact it triggers nostalgia simply with the word "Battlefront" in it.
EA knew what was up. They fooled the casual gamer (and the parents and grandparents and aunts and uncles doing the actual shopping) hook, line, and sinker.
Do you research intensely *every*...
Sony is out of touch. Bottom line people: if ain't gonna make 'em mad amounts of dollar bills from the casual crowd, then they ain't catering to the hardcore anymore. Because money. That's it. Fuck 'em to some degree -- some new releases are OK. But it's not like PS4 has been the second coming of the PS2. And fuck this "Shawn" dude. Corporate schill at its finest.
Sony needs a swift kick in the ass to get their heads on straight again. They think that they can simply claim this gen before it's over and therefore can charge whatever the hell they want. Why? Because gamers, to them, are too dimwitted and will buy anything they sell on a whim or on impulse. They know this and exploit it. Dirtbags. And I'm a Sony guy FFS. PS2 Classics on the PS4?!? Anyone want to still defend them?
