People care to see if Natal is the junk it looks like (not that Move is better) and if MS will get one another PS3 game, Versus XIII this time. That is basically it.

It's Virtual On Force.

The VP games sell poorly in the West and fine but definetely less than Star Ocean ones in Japan. Which makes even less sense for it to be announced at E3.

Think about it, people:

- Valkyrie Profile, a Japanese Role Playing Game from triAce, announced at the E3, an American Event, when every other triAce game over the last ten years has always been unveiled either during TGS or very close to TGS in magazines.

- A Breath of Fire remake/porting like the FFI-II one on PSP, but ON DISC, and for X360? BoFII is already on Virtual Console, people. It wouldn't make sense as a XBLA title, go figure. ._.

Fantranslations (see: Vesperia etc.), undubs, full game installations and MKV support then bring it.

They are free to develop the game for whatever platform they want. Just, I wish they'd say the truth about not wanting to develop on PS3, since I don't think it's because of the hardware. At this point in the generation every.single.developer out there has worked for PS3, even Epic Games despite making two GoW exclusive for 360 has done UTIII in-house for PS3. ID is making frickin Rage as a multiplatform title, so I can't see what's the issue with Portal, a game based on a engine that runs on...

Nobody cares about yet-another-tps, no matter who develops it, everyone cared for the best action game ever. Too late.

Next time watch out for copypaste.

Nobody with a sane brain would have ever developed a Jrpg for 360 unless they were subsized. You don't send your best IPs to die on a console with no future in Japan and a western userbase that doesn't care about Jrpgs unless your costs are fully covered. It didn't happen last gen because PS2 was at the top of the world despite being released one year later. The slow start of PS3 helped Microsoft in striking those deals, that's all it needs to be said.

Yeah, too bad SC: C has "toned" stealth mechanics down to MGS4 standards.

5874d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

Given how "good" the porting of Double Agent was, it's better for everyone if SC: C stays 360/PC exclusive.

Basing themselves on screens while everybody knows PS3 output capture is horrible. Try both demos on the same TV, switching from 360 to PS3, and you'll see there's not a difference, you can barely tell which one is which and you'll have to move the respective pads to realize it.

In motion the game looks, plays and feels the same, same smooth framerate on both, both have the same (subpar/sub-HD looking) level of detail.

Seriously, don't even try to spin this game as ...

"You don't know the circumstances with the development of the existing JRPG's SE has done for the 360. Maybe they had the dev kit's much earlier than the PS3 and just did not have the time to port them. Also, SE has been wanting to break into the West and I know MS was very interested in having them develop for Xbox and they made a deal. What's wrong with that? Sony could of done the same thing and actually they have, dismissing the Xbox and only supporting the PS2. Didn't hear the whini...

"The reason that Square-Enix decided to produce titles like The Last Remnant and Star Ocean 4 on the 360 was because they wanted to try and touch a wider install base. This has been something that Square has been striving for since the beginning of this generation, which is why they now own Eidos.

Also games like The Last Remnant and Star Ocean 4 were of unusually low quality. Star Ocean 4 more so."

Not really, no. The reason why SO4 was on 360 first is the...

I was right, but I wasn't expecting a confirmation SO soon. This is MY Christmas present, every other March game can pretty much go to hell.

That probably means Yakuza 3 is indeed coming Stateside. The first one to leak Quantum on 360 was amazon.fr iirc, and the listing was found around the same time of another listing, the one on amazon.de with Yakuza 3.

They barely outsold PS3 3:1 last year, it sure as heck won't happen now that there's a fair pricing competition.

Not too shallow, I guess. I mean, the original Sigma did 500k in its lifetime, Sigma 2 did 370k in about a month, my guess is that it's gonna easily surpass the original and reach a 550-600k LTD, which is good enough. Every dev would wish for a late port to sell half as the original, but look at cases like Bioshock for example.

No. It's a PlayStation 3-only title."

Funny, because it comes from the same developer and was posted from the same site a few days ago. I guess andriasang is trying to stir up the pot to get more hits. Slow period indeed.

It's like they don't want money of PS3 owners.

They are lucky those kind of news don't get past the Internet.
