C'mon now don't be like that. Regardless of the points scale, both these titles have reached universal acclaim amongst critics. As AAA quality titles, They should be commended together. NOT compared against each other.

Cliffy B made the same type of complaints with his game as well. Its a point of consistency. We're looking from a gamer's perspective, and not the developers. When they make a game and put so much work into it, its MUCH higher standards of appreciation that these people intend to recieve.

Please, for the love of god no "exclusive episodic content" DLC. That fiasco was a major eyesore and did absolutely nothing for gamers but cause frustration.

It became an atrocity when they cited that the SOLE REASON Uncharted 2 would receive such a score and not ANY HIGHER was because as great as it was, it did nothing original, and having no originality would not get you any higher than that.
Only to have Call of duty modern warfare 2 get a 9.5 despite not being outlandishly more original and newer than its predecessor. THATS why people hanged them. Rightfully so.
You seem upset. Why is that? The Uncharted 3 experience is noted for its Amazing single player campaign. The multiplayer is just an extra side dish to an otherwise perfect meal. Nice to have, but certainly not a necessity.

Get a ps3, buy uncharted 3, and play it. Who knows? You might like it as much as they did too.

Lol. I remember 2 years ago they defended their Uncharted 2 9.3 score to high hell saying that a game that does NOTHING original doesn't warrant a higher score, and then turned around two weeks later to give Call of duty mw2 a 9.5.
Its nice to see that they've dropped the senseless act and given Uncharted 3 a justified score.
Edge had to give uncharted 3 a 9. Its the lowest score they could have given such a great game as this. It doesn't change ANYTHING about them.
The day they showed their true colors was when they had given crackdown 2 an 8.5 because of the editors having a close friendship with one the head developer, and when they gave infamous 2 a 6.
Uncharted 3 has some big shoes to fill with its predecessor, and im so amped to experience it. But I can't help but predict that it will get a slightly unfair shake from others when it comes to upcoming reviews, and that's quite unfortunate. When it comes to ps3 exclusives, I don't know its almost kind of expected to get critiqued on a somewhat harsher level by some publications.

I agree. Its kind of redundant to do a "preview review". Whoever came up with that lame concept, needs to stop it. All they're doing is attempting to stretch the anticipation in an outright annoying fashion.
