Its called grasping at straws. They've got to harp on a negative somehow.
Wow. That was quite a hasty response.
And my honest opinion based off of yours was that it was immature and juvenile. Going by your comment history alone, its quite obvious that you've never even touched Uncharted 3 or ever plan to do so.
Uncharted 3 is a critical success. Get over it.
Perfect to near-perfect scores have been coming in by the bucketload, its quite well deserved for naughty dog. They did an AMAZING job.
My vote went to uncharted 3 and The Last Guardian
Dragons lair with better graphics? lol, you really need to grow up. That trolling shit is so juvenile.
This game brings back so many memories. I played it together with my best friend who I had a huge crush on. Now that ive got a ps3, Im definitely going to pick up this version.
Just because people are experiencing similar complaints DOES NOT mean that it gives you ammunition to troll the game. None of these problems are game-breaking or quality deterring. Grow up.
It was either this or uncharted 3. I chose the latter. I'll get battlefield later around Xmas time.
I don't have an aiming problem, persay but I do sometimes have an occasional "stutter-step" when I want him to move slowly. After reading the reviews on how Nate will interact with the environment, I tried it out and it works, yet sometimes he'll have like a spazzing moment while moving.
However its nothing that a simple patch-up wont fix.
God If I had sex with nolan north, I would make him switch voices between drake and Dr. Richtofen on the fly. *sigh* one can only dream.
I want an Uncharted prequel playing as sully. He was quite a masculine badass in his prime years. I would LOVE to see a storyline from his POV, and maybe to expand on his mentoring of drake.
I hate you. I Reeeealy want that cool looking titanium ring that the collectors edition comes with.
Uncharted does not take you 6.55 hours to complete everything. That's a boldfaced lie, unless you're talking about the single player alone, which to me is still quite a stretch.
the tactic they used isn't something thats new when it comes to the profession of criticism. And its not just in gaming journalism.
A critic eager to be seen or stir some controversy picks out something and scores it WAY below the aggregiate of the others, and rushes to pull the "individualistic opinion" card for notoriety. It happens not only in gaming journalism. Movie critics, book critics, hell even restaurant critics do it. There's a name for that said...
Well mendicant, from the massive numbers of perfect score's its recieved, im inclined to believe so.
Since october 24, 2011 to November 2, 2011 out of the 18 perfect 10/10 scores Uncharted 3 received from various gaming websites, only 2 were accounted into Uncharted 3's metacritic score. 16 perfect scores weren't even placed into its aggregiate.
To date, every single score that has been below 9 has been accounted into Uncharted 3's metacritic score no matter how obscure the website.
It really makes no logical sense whatsoever when you look at it....
If its only 30 percent complete that's good!!! That means they can scrap production RIGHT NOW, take their losses while their still miniscule, and go back to the drawing board with the Devil may Cry franchise
Platinum Games had expressed a great desire to switch up the Devil May Cry formula, and with their track record of awesome titles, they would be a MUCH better fit.
Articles like these are a prime example of why I think that gaming journalism has gone deep into the shitter. Simply ponying to the readers sparking a controversial headline, and fueling an endless and unnecessary debate over absolutely nothing.
*sigh* industrygamers is a joke of a gaming website and I don't see how ANYONE would follow up this shit.
