At Eurogramer interviews, Mark Cerny said that PS4 games will be playable completely offline; because there are a lot of locations ( booming markets like India and Brazil) that dont have a good internet connection.
Yoshida expressed also, that DRM's policy is in the publisher's hands and the consumer will decide buy or not games with restrictions, for example Sim City for PC. In my personal opinion I dont wanna to buy games with DRM.
Sure an excelent system with old DDR3 memories and not removable HDD 500GB. If you can't get connected every 24 hours, then you cant be able to play games, but you can watch movies and tv :(

Plus is the best of the best. AMAZING and combined with Vita is pure dynamite 50 games at year for only pay 50 bucks once, 1 dollar for game, insane!
