SWTOR has you slowly dying for entering an exhaustion zone or something. You can go quite far in but then you die slowly.

Quake 3's AI is not good Ai.
I have had my days with Quake 3 and its just point and shoot for the ai. Its just ruthless thats all. Today its about balancing a game for difficulty tiers considering the consumer.
They couldn't coz they were almost naked, they would get injured quite easily without armor.
Dead eye problem wont be fixed.
Our eyes are alive because of very very subtle twitches and movements as we think, decide, ponder, excite etc etc
For a dev to actually do that all the time in every conversation and every scene would be a monumental undertaking. They can program a pattern or something to give that feel but never close to real.
We can get close to reality but our eyes will always differentiate between real and unreal.

Actually to be honest kids love Nintendo games. My 8 yr old bro eats up Pokemon. Got him an NDS and boom, he doesn't talk to anyone anymore wtf.
Play this in 4 player co-op which it has always been meant for and you'll forget why they even made an offline version for consoles.

Zoomed in you mean. Pc version is a bit more zoomed out you can see more of the area. pc version character looks almost half the size.
Well the have slight pacing differences and the way monsters will mob up also is tweaked for controller speeds. Still pretty solid.
Graphics are close. Shadows, anisotropic filtering and hdr is worse on console but thats expected really.
Besides that Im amazed how close the two are in essence and feel.
