I feel Max Payne 3 maintains many aspects of noir and is trying to find its own identity within the noir games crowd.
It still feels gritty and it just may pack a good story.

For me it had everything going for it. Played from the headstart and then bam 15days later I was bored of the combat. Its still better than every mmo I played to date but Im tired of the same gameplay.
