While I am still bloody hyped for D3, I feel like Torchlight 2 may end up being the true successor to D2. Runic games was formed by several of the founding members for blizzard north who made the original diablo games. And as torchlight showed, they captured the main elements while adding their own new flare onto it. As far as I am concerned as a D2 nut Torchlight 2 has my attention more currently.

My guess is that Dota2 will likely be f2p with micro transactions, with Valve's new direction recently. Won't be surprised if they decide to suddenly release it out of nowhere with something like this happening.
This article is terrible.... He goes on about what the game does well but then says it misfired by pretty much not being like the originals. Yet, he says that if they kept it more like the originals but kept the vehicle stuff it would have been much better which just makes no sense at all....

Last time I checked games like the Elder Scrolls series, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and other various RPG's were all popular on the 360.
Grah getting sick of the 'Bethesda this Bethesda that' on all the games they are PUBLISHING. They aren't the developer. It's the same deal with L.A Noire where Rockstar are the PUBLISHER. Been peeving me off a bit lately cause it always gives the wrong idea and is making marketing rather cheap.
That being said the game sounds interesting and I will keep my eye on it. But from the games that Arkane have made I won't play my hopes too high.
Totally agree dude. I enjoyed the original KZ back in the PS2 days but KZ2/3 were just bland and generic to me. There is so much more to the resistance games and they stand out far more. Always thought Resistance deserved the higher praise but meh I dunno I never understand the general gaming crowd these days.

Well said. It annoys me that there is some sort of factual consensus that RPG's have to be a particular way. It is also ridiculous that the RPG genre may be the only one that actually is innovated in any way and people whine when there actually is innovation just like when they do with the lack of it in general these days.
