I wish people would stop buying it and make Activision keep milking this crap. It just keeps selling more and more per year though :( Black ops is a pile of garbage and the series only had some good in it when the old infinity ward was making it. Now it just downright sucks.
I liked how Mafia 2 did it so sounds good to me. The story was so much better in Mafia 2 than in GTA4 and RDR for that reason. I guess I just don't find sandbox gameplay as fun since San Andreas.
Just bought Torchlight on Steam and have been loving it. Was not expecting it to release on XBLA at all.
I did like FF13 for what it did well but best RPG? Hell no! Are the people who voted for this nuts?!

ME2 definitely! Most of my nominees would have been different but ME2 is still the best game I played in 2010, and obviously being the best SP.
Funny how sarcastic gamer is being sarcastic, but I would actually agree with those points about Madison. I honestly thought she was a pretty bad character who was just there for sex appeal really. The game was great overall though, even with its plot holes.
Black Ops is one of the worst games I played this year. Horrible SP with some of the worst NPC and level design I have ever seen and was once again a wannabe of IW success on the series with many level ideas trying to be replicated but poorly. And the multi-player is just another bland rehash of the other games again. Seriously don't see what people regard so highly in it.

awful awful screens. That being said, from playing UC2 and seeing the footage of 3 there seems to be a bit of an improvement but nothing drastic. It isn't exactly a bad thing though since I would say UC2 is still the best looking console game.
They are much much better.
Have to say a few things about this.
1. Out of the nominee's ME2 definitely deserved it.
2. Alan Wake should have been nominated. Best narrative I have seen in years, annoys me it is never nominated for best story. Most of those nominee's have nothing on it narrative-wise.
3. Glad RDR wasn't nominated. Everyone seems to get good script writing mixed with good narrative. RDR and GTA4 both had pretty crap story's but excellent d...
Why can't people realize that not every person will like every game. There is always someone who hates a game, not matter how popular or well received it is. People need to get over it.
It works well enough as a recap but really lacks the depth and emotion of the game. Any PS3 owner who has not played the first and can owe it to themselves to play it. The small decisions that carried over though really made 2 even better so I don't know really... I just hope small decisions made in ME1 through side missions and such will still carry into 3.
