I really enjoyed the game. Great visuals, story, characters, I also thought the combat was pretty good not sure why everyone hated that so much. The ending was amazing too. My only complaint was length in which I did rent and finish the game easily in a short period of time. Would love to see more though.
I would say it is the same deal as Homefront. Microsoft are showing support but Sony are too focused on KZ3. PS3 owners are being pretty uptight anyway since they seem to feel so challenged by Crytek promising their game to be the best looking on consoles and won't accept it.
@Whitenoise, DA had all of its ideas based of other fantasy stories. It meshed them together bloody well to make one hell of a fantasy narrative. That being said, The Witcher has its own fantastic story in its own right. Can't wait for the sequel of both.

Skyrim and Rage have been 2 of my most wanted games for ages now and Brink is also looking fantastic. Have to love Bethesda, Id, and Zenimax :).

Glad some people here understand how great he is and all the successful games he has made over his career. To much Sony bias here and hating on fable, which might I add are good games in their own right, hyped up or not. If you can't judge a game for yourself then well learn to.
I would also say he is one of the few visionaries in the business. He looks towards the future of games and gets excited about it. At least he doesn't sit back always trying to do the same old...

I think I played way more of AW than RDR in the end. Getting all 1500gs and playing through everything at least twice was well worth the money, not to mention the CE was one of the only really worthwhile ones I bought.
Because people are idiots and don't know what a truly great game is. Much better than RDR, and one of the best games I played last year.

I thought it was a big improvement over Heavenly Sword. While HS has some great visuals and mo-cap, and some cool ideas at parts, the combat was not very good, the story didn't really develop that well and it just didn't keep my interest at all. The sixaxis stuff wasn't very good either.
