IW were the only company really doing anything special to the games, now they are just a 'fake' IW it will pretty much just be mostly copy/pasted crap.
lol it won't even beat BC2. Why even consider MW3 beating BF3?
I can't tell if he did it this time purely as a joke after the reaction of him being caught last time or not....
Edit: Or it may be a troll account. Doesn't seem as sneaky and serious as last time if anything.
Don't we already? :P
This is what is pissing me off about this game. The hype and reputation the game has earned has half been off the name 'Rockstar' instead of Team Bondi who actually made the freaking game. I am not really trying to abuse the game here or anything, I just don't like it when people treat games to a certain level because of the publisher instead of the actual development studio.
There is many examples of this such as Fallout New Vegas with everyone using Bethesda...
Not even going to read this review. A 2?? seriously? must be some moronic cod fanboy or something. This game is easily around an 8 and is a crap load of fun.
Pretty sure most of Brinks PC sales would have been DD too.
Sad how crappy reviewers are causing people to avoid this great game. Truly upsets me when this is by far the most unique fps in a long time and it does most things bloody well. The A.I does not spoil this game sheesh, and most lag issues are gone now.
On the actual topic though, isn't surprising it sold far more on the 360 than the ps3 with PSN down. It is a MP shooter after all. Wonder what the digital PC sales are like.
Most of the reviews are this bad and they all seem to be treating it like an SP game. It is horrible because the game I have been playing is great and a crap load of fun. It isn't perfect and there is some issues to be fixed, but hardly as bad as the reviewers have been making it out to be. They really just prove they are the mainstream shooters little bitches.
People really shouldn't avoid this game because of some technical issues. The lag was horrendous but today it was far far better for the most part. My problem with the online currently is getting into full enough games. Yet to experience a true 8v8 game with human players. Most of my matches are 50%+ bots, in which the A.I can be infuriating at times.
The core gameplay however is fantastic. I love the complexity, the team focus, and the different class objectives. The cu...
I think it has been far better today than it was the past few days.
While I entirely disagree and think the Desmond stuff is by far the most interesting part from a narrative perspective, my problem is that they have that story idea there but they are hardly using it, instead they just focus on all the stuff in the Animus. I just think it is stupid to play out this big narrative part, heck the main narrative of the game but essentially ignore it for most of the games because it focuses entirely on the historical parts. I would prefer they just did the histori...
It does seem to be that way. I wouldn't have minded so much though if Ubisoft didn't start milking it every year -_-. Don't get me wrong I like the AC games. Just think that they are gonna wear off quickly at this rate. Brotherhood felt kinda like 2.5 with MP added and I am worried revelations will just feel like 2.75 at this rate. Also annoyed they are only doing tiny bits on the Desmond story, which to me is by far the most interesting part of the game and I want them to stop tr...
This review is god awful. I swear he treated this as 1. A SP game, and 2. as if he doesn't understand how a team based shooter works at all.
He's bitching that if certain classes are killed then that's all that has to be done? Hasn't he heard of using teamwork to get the right person to do something? Also hes bitching that the objectives are near spawn points??? seriously??? That's what it is like in EVERY objective based shooter. TF2 and BC2 are prime ex...
That's kinda besides the point I was making. After the game goes gold there will generally be a month or so until the game release. If issues arise between then the developer will try their best to fix it by release as in this case. But do they rush a patch out for reviews to suck up to them and get a better review or try to get it ready for the actual game release so that the actual large market gets a proper patch. It seems like a good decision of Splash damage to me rather than being o...
Better for the developers to have a patch ready for gamers than for reviewers.
I don't think people are looking at this in the right way. Developers can do all the testing they could possibly do, but they can't test how an online game will run to all the people around the entire world who want to play it.
Sure some developers release online demos and betas, but I am sure there is money and support that has to go into these and they usually are big games. Splash damage isn't exactly the most wealthy developer. But even in those situations I ...
The only good COD games made in the past few years were made by the original IW.... the rest is just crappy companies milking it.
It's a great team based shooter. Just some bad lag and matchmaking issues plaguing the online atm which is really annoying. Once they fix it all up though it will be fantastic.
This is stupid, it is entirely a persons choice to use it and the fact that you can use custom soundtracks whenever is great. I guess I have mainly only used it for racing games though since he does make the good point of removing the score from something that is part of it. It's just the fact hes criticizing it as ridiculous seems stupid to me. No ones forcing the gamer to play his own music over the games own soundtrack.
