I don't think the problem is wearing something on your head, I believe the problem is likely wearing something that is crude or like you say bulky on your head.
The problem with VR is that it is still in it's infancy and therefore is crude and bulky. I believe VR is the future but we still aren't there technology-wise and so I don't think Morpheus will be a hit.
You can even do it by changing the clock settings forward on your ps2. Gotta love the little nuances in mgs.

Nice spin there. When a company has layoffs due to profitability it means the company is doing poorly. It's not totally business, it's Sony in a precarious financial state trying to save money at the expense of their first party studios.

He gave forza and titanfall a 5/5 even with their inexcusable lack of variety and content and then criticizes and marks down infamous for the exact same issues. I think his review of infamous is fair, but he doesn't hold xbox games to the same standard.
I find it interesting and I like to see how the market responds to these consoles outside of internet chat.
Sales also effect the amount of software support a console gets. For example Titanfall 2, assuming there will be one, is less likely to be xbox exclusive given the copious ps4 sales.
But yes, it is strange when people take these numbers to heart.
Across all platforms I'd reckon over 5 million by the end of the year. Xbox1 maybe 2 million.
They must have supplied Japan with too much stock then because the weekly rates were higher then, for the EU and US, than they are now for this week including Japan.
edit: actually scratch that you are correct. The launch week in Japan would have produced some constraints to these regions. However, I'm still not sure why the numbers are down this week when it is mostly sold out again.
The +108% is strange indeed. Why such a massive jump? Perhaps they are counting Titanfall pre-orders. PS4 software may be down post Thief launch and with the Japan launch settling.
You may be correct, but then surely sony should be able to stock these places properly. Do an online stock check and see what I mean. The UK doesn't appear to be getting stock until after Infamous.
Pre-orders are close because they are only US pre-orders and given the install base of the 2 consoles it is a fairly safe estimation by vgchartz. Nothing off there.
Also look at the global chart. PS4 is ahead in software by a realistic amount.

These ps4 numbers are strange. It still appears to be mostly sold out and yet the numbers keep falling. The same is happening in Europe. Either these numbers are way off or Sony has some serious supply issues going on.

as far as i can tell people are moving on in the realisation that the game isn't going to be a system seller for xbox1 like it was hyped to be though I'm not stating it as a fact. Sitting at 87 on metacritic as I type this and was hyped as game of the generation... just no guys. Bear in mind killzone2 was called a flop by sony haters for sitting at a fantastic 91 just because Gears of War and Halo happened to be a point or two higher.
Pre-orders estimated at 570k, to put into perspective infamous is thought to be at 600k. Certainly not sys...
Well they did pay $60 for what is the equivalent content to many other free to play FPS in Titanfall...
