The majority of customers at Toys R Us are gonna be families buying something for there kids. An informed purchase will be the console which will be most fun, they aren't going to care about what console is more powerful. With the inclusion of Kinect among other things...

Don't forget the fact that Playstation Network has been hacked in the past putting millions of users personal and credit card information at risk. People on N4G seem to forget about that when it comes to Kinect and privacy. XBL has never been hacked.
I would feel more worried about putting my information in Sony's hands than Kinect 'spying' on me.

I am getting both consoles for the exclusives.
I have them both preordered but I prefer the Xbox for multiplatforms because of the superior online play & services, so according to you I am a 'sad fanboy' and I am lying... my life makes so much more sense now. /sarcasm
I won't be getting Ghosts on day one but why should they change it when it works and millions of people buy the game ever year?
I am obviously going to get a lot of disagrees but Killzone Shadow Fall multiplayer looks very similar to CoD multiplayer in gameplay videos. It just shows that the CoD multiplayer formula and mechanics work when other developers are taking inspiration from them.
There is hardly a difference between 1080p, 900p & 720p especially when you are playing the game, I would rather have a lower resolution and better graphics than a higher resolution.
You only way you would notice a difference between the two would be if you played both on two TVs next to each other. Who is going to do that?

In 2011 a Sony database was hacked with customers credit card details on, it is almost a yearly occurrence with Sony. They got fined for it a few months ago.
It won't only be the Xbox One, the PS4 will most likely have advertisements on the dashboard as well.
Advertising has always been used with most forms of entertainment, what makes people think consoles would be different?

Microsoft have proved in past that they are superior over Sony when it comes to optimizing and balancing a console. The PS3's extra power didn't count for nothing because the 360 was easier to develop on.
Sony took the easy route with the lower price, if the prices matched the PS4 would have no chance against the Xbox One.
