hahaha! You'll get 'em next time Chris.. Next time...
I have a 32" Sony SDTV and I have problems reading some of the instructions and menus in games. I had to look in the instruction manual for Army of Two when I couldn't tell what they wanted me to do in training. The TV is big enough, and the picture is not messed up but the games just expect you to have a set that defines those edges so much better than SD. Hopefully a 42" 1080p soon.. at least a 720p.. but we shall see. Will I really notice the difference between 720 and 1080?
I'm waiting for PAIN and Bionic Commando to get patched. Those will by my first games with trophy support. I was going to buy SSHD but I got discouraged after buying PJ: Monsters and it was half price the next week. I don't even like that game all that much.
nothing more. If anything, gamers are less lazy. Most people watch TV in their spare time. At least this involves some interactivity. Not to mention, it's not like because you're a gamer, you inherently do nothing else. Dumb.
..and hopefully many more! aaaaand maybe another MGS? Please? This guy is tops in the industry, hands down.
He finished all the bubbles =( Now he can't sit here and tell us how great his site is and how wrong we are for not liking it Q.Q
They are whiners because they think Mirror's Edge could be lacking in length/content. A big song and a dance comes back around to that. (I know, now I'm sorry I fell for the "What would kill Mirror's Edge?!?!?!" *dramatic music* *fireworks*)
PS: LOL Stallone 1993.. Well then guess what? We don't need you on our site either! (See what I did there?) Aw.. wait.. c'mon.. do.. don't cry.. dude.. I'm.... I WAS FREED ON THE NES IN 1989!
PS#2: A chisel could kill ...
Sims: Halo Edition
"Master Chief can destroy aliens.. But can he survive everyday life?!"
:P
OR
Halo Mama: Master Chef
I agree with you all the way. I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as I and many, MANY of us have. I think this game is an 11 on a scale of 1-10. I beat this when it came out, so this is not the "awe" factor speaking.
OF COURSE you have to rate games against other games.. you can't review games on some perfect-future-game-of-no-flaw s that does not exist. You may not enjoy it as much as some others.. but NO game does what MGS4 does.. not as many things as well anyway. Not a...
Screwing with the Storm Troopers is fun as hell. I could do that for a couple hours alone and I'm not easily entertained. XD
I would not condemn colorful portions of the game. I just think to incorporate too many bright, pretty colors would take you out of the grim, serious experience.
Thanks for adjusting it. =) Gonna download it now.
^
because that's basically what I wanted to say.
@N2: I never said the PS3 got them there. But there are a lot of admirers and supporters who own PS3s and would be more than willing to open up their wallets to Valve if they showed some support in return (me being one of them). Fix my Orange Box and I'll buy other things you make.. even if they're not scored wonderfully, because I know that you looked out for my hard-earned money and you did not have to.
Yea I hear that for sure. No more TH reviews please.
PS. I like your avatar, that movie looks good.
You want Killzone to look like Zelda? C'mon.. I hate when I hear about how gray it is. You are in a war zone surrounded by buildings and non-natural structures. They should be less concerned with the variety of colors and more with what they do with those colors.
Great point that I did not even think of. Hardcore Bubbles.
It seems like half your comment is sarcastic and half serious. I really don't care what the average blogger thinks of a game. Because at that point, I'll just go play it myself if it has sparked enough of my interest. Otherwise, we could spend days on end reading reviews for one game and cluttering the site when we could have been saving space for real news. I'm not saying he's right or wrong.. but do we really need 50 reviews for one game?
I'm not disappointed so much in the fact that he doesn't want to port his games. More in the fact that he tried to make the PS3 and in-turn the PS3's audience seem inferior to what he "preferred". If Valve made crap games (which they most certainly do not) then it would be a non-issue. I just don't think it was handled well.
I liked the way you said it better than how I said it. You're experience with Valve in general is deeper than mine. Bubbles 4 u.
then you either have severe tunnel-vision or aren't reading these comments in their entirety. It's not just about GN (the new abbreviation for Gabe Newell) not supporting the PS3, but also not supporting all the fans he has that own a PS3. Please read this next part carefully..
>>>It's not necessarily about the actual box and circuitry (the PS3) that fans are upset about. It's the fact that he is ignoring a completely legitimate medium which many of his fans have chosen...
Oh. My. God. I hate those commercials too. "Call now and starting making games of your own, because as a gamer, you know what happens when you stand still!"
Your health recharges? Pure garbage.
People who want to make video games, already know more than any commercial is going to try to sell them about it.
Off topic: I hate prescription drug commercials too :P
