This isn't surprising...
I've been watching collectors editions for awhile now.
For the most part of 2015 they have been super "plasticky"
For example - Just Cause 3 and Fallout 4... Both have the major component of the collectors edition made out of plastic.
When we start getting into editions that cost $120 or more... the word "PLASTIC" shouldn't come into the equation.
also...
In the grand scheme of things I don't think it really mattered if they announced it at an official Playstation venue or not.
I mean it's literally like 15 days or so before the New Year..
The timing was perfect...

Watch the video... Watch the end.. See the smiles..
That is what pure joy and excitement...
A 5.5 is way too harsh..
Granted it has it's issues... My main problem is with the very non-consistent loading times... And the initial log-on to the servers or whatever when the game first loads up.
It almost seems you have to connect online before you're able to go into the settings and turn off the online thing... that makes no sense at all
Other than that I'm having a blast. I took a break this weekend to play Game of Thrones...
One of my favorite platinum trophies!
I can't wait for Ni No Kuni 2!!!
It could be a blood contract...
How would we know?
I'm extremely interested in this game and the associated tech...
With the 3D printing aspect....
Couldn't we theoretically create our own unique stuff and then print them off and then market them??
I mean I'm trying to figure out the lines of copywritten stuff.
I feel that if you make a unique items or figure or whatever in the game that you will have complete control over it.
I liken it to creati...
Interesting. It's usually hit or miss for me.
It seems that when it is going super super slow there will eventually be what almost sounds like a "click" and then the loading thing will start going super fast.
I dunno if I wanna try this workaround because in the long run it would probably strain the PS4 more by opening and closing the other game.
It seems the longest loading time is after you die. or at least in my experience. T...
This is only the 1st week..
I got Game of Thrones Season Pass for $5... I'm happy.
Hopefully they also have something next week that I'm looking to pick up.
Yeah I bought the Season Pass also. $5 is a steal for all 6 episodes. I finished up Tales of Borderlands a month or so ago.
Can't wait to play Game of Thrones!
I signed up I've been on a roll lately I was in the Battleborn test and this past weekend the Doom test.
I've had my eye on The Tomorrow Children since it was first revealed. I hope I get selected!
This should just make my Fallout 4 experience even better.
About to turn on my PS4 now and start downloading it.
But yeah at least Fallout 4 doesn't have the "load times" that Just Cause 3 has...
Good lord, Just Cause 3 has non-consistent loading times...... on one screen you will spend 25-30 seconds loading... on another screen you will sit there for upwards of 15 minutes thinking your game froze.
I'm really having a blast. I built a nice mansion at StarLight Drive-In. It had a sign of lightboxes that read HOME linked to a post that goes off and on. It was flashing bright red.
But I got a different idea so I scrapped everything last night.
I love it. I understand that people have their complaints about dumbing it down and what not but in my mind the building aspect of the game makes up for all of that by itself. Everything else is just a bonus.
You know all of you guys just broke the Terms of Service just like the guy on the video here...
You're not supposed to openly talk about anything you experience on the game.. (especially on the internet)
I mean it specifically tells you NOT TO TALK about it in public online settings.
That is why they created the official forums... posting comments about the guns and stuff here on N4G is just as much as a violation.
just think of the space programs of multiple countries around the world and you have the base idea for the game.
it's all about exploring space and discovering stuff. it's all randomly generated.
For us normal people that can only look at the stars through telescopes and from the Earth. (Not all of us are trained Astronauts or have the money to go on some experimental shuttle to Mars)
For people that look at the stars and wonder... T...
no everyone is in the same universe...
it's so damn big the chances of running into another actual "live" person is extremely small..
the appeal comes from discovering things...
whoever discovers something first gets to name it... so at some point somewhere along the lines of your travels you will probably stumble on something that someone else has already discovered. and the same goes for the stuff you discover and name. someo...
I figure Fallout 4, Just Cause 3 and my recent purchase of The Witcher 3 on Black Friday for $25 should keep me covered until Uncharted 4 comes out and then between that and probably MLB: The Show I will be prime to enjoy No Man's Sky in June with absolutely nothing else on my gaming mind!
I predict the Joker will be in the game.. somewhere.. maybe not the main baddie... but he'll be there.
hahaha. I'm glad I don't play the PC version. The command list sounds like it would take the majority of the initial fun away.
It would be a different story after 100 hours though like the author said. I think at that point you've probably experienced enough the "legit" way to have some fun with it.
I acknowledge the differences from 3 and New Vegas but come on people it's still the same Fallout we all know and love.
Hell yeah.. I would eat up Ni No Kuni for PS4.
or maybe they can do an emulated version that is downloadable with the purchase of the newly announced Ni No Kuni 2!!!
either way I would love it.
One of my favorite games on PS3!
