Absolutely...I hate kids.
Perhaps they can come out of the sea, like Godzilla? :)
I haven't had any serious problems so far, apart from being addicted to it. It's the best game I've ever played, so as long as they keep making games like this I'll keep supporting them.
They probably did it like that because shields can only go on the left hand and, as in all other games, it's normal to use the left mouse button to control weapons, which is in your right hand when you have a shield. Can't think of any other reason they would have done it like that.
I think it would have been better if they made shields able to be used in either hand then you could of had lmb controlling weapons in left hand and shields, weapons etc. in your right h...
Poor pigeons :(
The developers could easily do as well, if not better than the modders if they didn't have to try and make the games run well on consoles and PCs with infinate combinations of hardware, software and settings.
Shame Witcher 2 is being overlooked too.
I got a temporary fix by going into control panel and disabling the drivers for my Saitek X36 joystick.
BF3 runs perfectly at 1680x1050 (native for my screen) on ultra settings on my i7920, one ATI 5870 (using the 11.9 drivers), 6 gigs of RAM and Windows 7 64 bit.
It's a Logitech wireless mouse.
Maybe they were poisoned arrows?
I haven't been able to play it yet because my left mouse button won't work. I've read on the forums that it will work if I unplug all USB devices, but frankly I can't be bothered to do that every time I want to play the game.
Anyway, I've been watching people play the campaign on JTV and the worst things about it to me seem to be that it's far too linear, the levels are very small for a battlefield game and you hardly get to use vehicles (why couldn&...
I hope they're going to fix the problem of having to unplug all USB devices before the left mouse button will work.
No you're not. I agree with you and dantesparda. All FPS multiplayer games seem pointless to me without a story and a context for doing things.
Multiplayer games are just running (driving or flying) around in circles for no reason except bragging rights and points towards bigger guns with which to do the same thing. And they look rediculous to me too, with the bunny hopping and the unrealistically fast running around...it's like watching a movie on fast forward.
That looked terrible. Doesn't make sense to me that they would use that instead of the amazing looking in-game videos we've been seeing.
At least it's wack-a-mole with a story and a purpose for wacking the mole, as opposed to multiplayer which is just running (or driving or flying) around in circles wacking the moles for no reason except earning bragging rights and points to put towards bigger guns with which to run (or drive or fly) around in circles wacking the moles :P
I'm in the UK and I've been using it for almost a year (I think). I think it's great apart from the resolution not being so good as having the game on your HD. But I agree that it won't really catch on here while the average broadband speeds are only around 6mb/s and most people still have monthly download limits. Maybe 5 years or so ahead of it's time here.
Oops! no, I didn't type MW3 on purpose lol
I'm a compulsive looter and completionist so I'm up to 247 hours on my first playthrough and still nowhere near finished. I'm still as addicted to it as I was when it first came out. I must be very sad and easily pleased :)
