Its lousy for you. It absolutely deserves a sequel. If you're not fine with a sequel maybe just ignore and dont buy it? Part 2 made bank. Deserved its awards. Not just from critics mind you, but users as well.
I've always of the opinion that the first game did not deserve a sequel yet here we are. It needs a trilogy and it needs to end the main part which they mostly skipped in 2 ie. Ellie's Immunity and the cure itself.

Just lower a few settings here and there. Down a notch on resolution and viola! Xs was no trouble at all.
