Well to answer why one would switch over, Why o Why brought up a good point about how last gen played out(which you seem to agree with). Another reason could be because of the initial DRM fiasco which might have led some to no longer trust MS despite them reversing their policies because it left a bad taste in their mouths. This "article" is just one person's opinion. The PS4 has been a "paperweight" to a few and a gaming machine to many others. Nothing to get worked up about.

List every game that is currently on a the PS4 and every game that will be available on the PS4 in the future and that's your answer. Any one of those games can be and/or will be a reason why someone would pick up a PS4. There are probably people who picked up a PS4 for Uncharted 4 alone. Or probably they were waiting for UC4 and decided to pick up a PS4 early after lets say another game that released that may not of been a high priority like UC4, but was a gam...
I'll never ever ever understand this type of argument. All of PS4's sales are because of pure hype, but all of XB1 sales are because it deserves them right? Can't someone say the same thing the other way around? Why is it hard to believe that people like what the current offering the PS4 has? How about the upcoming games? People aren't allowed to buy the system for that as well? People should only by a console for what it has at the moment? But I guess thinking that way makes ...
Less than a year on the market and you want a price drop??? Price drops within a year of release is not common at all especially if your console is selling well currently.

Keep in mind this games isn't a full $60 retail game. This is a low budget game that will cost $15 when it drops and yet the gameplay looks way better than any of the Naruto games with their same old gameplay.
I actually agree with you(the first part of your comment at least), but so what? It doesn't change the fact that they're enjoyable or in fact good stories in their own right.
MGS's story is not convoluted and it makes sense. I've replayed the games from MGS1 to 4 back to back and understood everything. With that said I don't think it's the best video game story ever told, but it is very very good. It's just not the best in my opinion. I'm having trouble singling out a game that has the "best story ever" at the moment.

Okay, you need to explain to me how Killzone is a "terrible pretender" of Halo. Killzone and Halo play nothing alike. The only thing they share is the fact that they're both in the FPS genre. The more recent KZs(3 & Shadow Fall) have more similarities to CoD than they do Halo.

Plenty of people have said price was the only reason. Others have also said "hype" was the only reason.
