you guys realize that EA is the publisher, not the developer
the developer chooses lead platform so really ea has very little if anything to do with it
we don't even know what the game is, or when it is coming and people start the ps3 vs xbox crap

i played the trial and found it pretty engaging, defintiely unique and kinda challenging in spots
don't mind the price on the game at all, seems more than fair...it is a very high quality qame

avatars are free, and are said to come with ~1000 customizable options or so
there is no charge for avatars or customization, later on accessories will be made available that will cost...no different than home

with the amount of things going on in one frame in GTA4 if they would have went native 1080p for that game it would have suffered terribly
it is very difficult to squeeze the hardware to get a high quality visual result as well as a smooth frame rate at high resolutions
no matter of time, programming, or money can fix limitations of the hardware
both consoles have an equally hard time doing this because it takes a lot of resources that can be better used...
