perhaps you should post your thoughts on every unreleased game and content piece so we know exactly what to buy
after putting in quite a bit of time with the patched version i'm going to have to disagree with you
the game itself seems to handle lag quite a lot better than before, before any hint of lag could be felt immediately but now it is more inline with other games
i'm not sure what they did exactly but at least in my case the lag issue has been reduced by a substantial amount

n4g is only place i have ever seen such animosity against people just because who they work for, or what they do for a living

im highly doubting this will actually make it to release, the pc version failed hugely and consoles don't have a great track record for mmos
if/when it does come out unless the subscription fees are small or if it is free somehow it may see some type of success but i don't see it being hugely popular
its a shame, consoles really need a good mmo, just port warhammer online over and we'd be fine

im actually quite surprised this even made it to any other consoles
i play either by myself or with 1 other person, on average it takes me about 25-40 seconds to get into a game, if i have a full team of 5 it usually takes about 10-15
regradless of what you or your friend says, the issue with matchmaking it more often than not the users connections, especially considering you are using wireless whether or not this router is "high end" wireless isn't the best way to go for gaming

you actually defended a game that isn't even out yet(killzone), and call of duty 4, which had many issues when it was released and required patching almost immediately, and halo, which suffered the EXACT same issues with their matchmaking system as gears2 did in the beginning

i find matches as fast on gears now as i don on call of duty, unfortunately that means i've played more matches...which also means i've stopped playing completely
as said above, it is amazing the amount of cheaters you find in the game now, it like every low life in the world plays gears 2
activision didn't say it, forbes did which gives it even less merit
i worked as an artist on a few iphone games that never made it anywhere(by no fault of my own) and i gotta say it wasn't the most fun i've ever had
i'm sure it was more the cause of the people i was working with at the time but as far as creation goes it wasn't really that exciting, and the income for these things isn't exactly great unless you have one that blows up then it turns into an okay amount

the customizations was awesome, it has very much been missed...actually a really good offroad racer has been missed
while there is motorstorm and pure, those games are extremely arcadey, while 4x4 evo was not by any stretch a sim it was more so than the others mentions
the word needs a truly good offroad sim, liscense...
